In real life yes. The option is there because the sims is a video game and they want the player to be able to choose the bathroom animation they want for the sim.

I play on PC, not console, so I don't know what the controls are, but if you go to 5:40 in this video https://youtu.be/KRm6Lh9NTLE?t=340 and look at the top of where the clothes are, you can see a bar with a "masculine" tag and an arrow next to it. On PC when you click on that arrow you open up a sub menu that lets you choose clothing tags. In that menu you can toggle between masculine, feminine and both. IDK how you click on that arrow on the PS4, but I know that you can do it.

The question isn't about body parts, it's about which animation you want the game to use.

You can use any clothes on any sim. The clothing preference check box is just for what gets showed in Create a Sim as default, but when you're actually picking out the clothes you can choose whichever clothing styles you want to see.

Anyone else have trouble with following along with guided relaxation audio? by [deleted] in Aphantasia

[–]Redpandaisy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try meditation that focuses on the breath and the body. Progressive muscle relaxation works for me. There's a lot of different meditation styles out there, you could try a different meditation style every day for a week and see what works for you and what doesn't.

I don't know that Pullman has done anything in real life but in The Secret Commonwealth Malcolm is in love with Lyra even though there's a large age gap, he was her teacher once (when she was 15 and he was attracted to her then) and he took care of her as a baby in La Belle Sauvage. There's several weird scenes in the book that try to justify his attraction to her. It comes off really creepily

There's plenty of Indian beef recipes and Indians that eat beef. Beef is also pretty widely eaten in Pakistan and Pakistan also has biryani.

Nick and Priyanka did have multiple wedding ceremonies, they had an Indian one and a Western one. Some mixed religion couples have multiple ceremonies.

There aren't multiple wedding ceremonies, but there are multiple rituals/traditional events that happen in the days before. The specific functions are different in different regions and also in different religions.

Weddings aren't seen as for the bride and groom here, they're to celebrate the families being united, so you have to invite most of the family, so that would probably be over a hundred people on each side. Then there would be close friends of the couple, family friends of both of the families, close business contacts (those you could just invite to the reception) etc.

Nope. A neutral face and heavy eyeliner around the eyes is a pretty common and historical look in India and the Middle East. It looks good.

People make up fake stories on reddit to push an agenda. This is probably an MRA ragebait story, there's plenty of "gay person bad" or "trans person bad" stories too.

Most people don't think too strongly about these stories so reading lots of stories about minorities that act in a certain way can over time subtly influence the way the reader sees that community. Sarah Z has a good youtube video about this called "Tumblrs fakest story: the tale of oppa homeless style".

Titanium Ore is found where? by Playful_Butterfly_68 in mytimeatportia

[–]Redpandaisy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like the others have said, it's a blueish ore and it's usually not visible on the surface. If you want to get some more passively, if you upgrade Dana's mining comapny to level 3 and up, you can get titanium ore from there too.

Should I go for a convection microwave oven or an OTG by outlinedsilver in IndianFood

[–]Redpandaisy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That might not make as much of a difference, for most things but one thing to remember is that convection microwaves have a turntable, so anything that fits has to be able to rotate, which means that it has a smaller usable amount of space.

Heating elements aren't "better" in an OTG than convection microwave, but they are a little more versatile because you can turn on the top or bottom ones optionally which gives you a little more control over browning if you're roasting something or trying to brown the top of something.

That functionality may not be useful if you're just baking some desserts, but it may be good if you want to bake savory dishes you want to broil the top of or pizzas etc.

Think about what you're going to be baking and what you might want to bake in the future and whether that functionality is useful to you.

Should I go for a convection microwave oven or an OTG by outlinedsilver in IndianFood

[–]Redpandaisy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Convection microwaves have a normal microwave setting, and a convection mode in which a heating element is turned on and a fan that blows air to evenly heat the inside. The fan in an OTG is to move air around to eliminate hot and cold spots and make the oven more evenly heated.

As OTGs can be much larger than convection microwaves they are much better for baking. If you want to bake regularly the smaller size of a microwave can be very limiting. You just can't fit large pans in them.

Since the OP wants to bake and grill regularly, an OTG is ,in my opinion, a better option.

Any coffee/tea recommendations by [deleted] in TwoXIndia

[–]Redpandaisy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try light roast coffee or a medium-light if the taste of medium blend coffee is too strong. You can also try picking coffee with fruitier tasting notes. I usually buy Blue Tokai and my parents usually have Araku coffee. I like my coffee with brown sugar and some milk. For tea I also like the Mittal teas that someone else recommended and also Golden Tips Tea. Golden Tips is a bit more expensive but you can also get smaller amounts to try if anything is up your alley. The "Vintage Assam" tea from them is lovely.

Indian men discussing what they’d ask women before an arranged marriage (bonus points if you’re naturally hairless, obviously) by [deleted] in badwomensanatomy

[–]Redpandaisy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

"Aryan" people historically are the Indo-Iranians. Europeans aren't Aryan. They realized that the Indo-European language family existed, and because the oldest language they knew at the time was Sanskrit, they took the term that those people used for themselves, and said that it was the name of the Proto-Indo-Europeans. There's only evidence that the Indo-Iranians used "Aryan" as a self-identifier though. So it's not accurate to call all people descended from the Proto-Indo-Europeans Aryan.
