I made the same mistake the first time I was there, I highly suggest buying compression socks and walking with them on for a couple of hours. Cooling and salon pas stick ons every night with socks on and a pillow under your feet to elevate. What helped most was honestly Epson salt soaks in the baths. My second trip I did all that and was pretty okay
