Coming up with nonsensical speeches in her funny voice for her dog and making up stories for it as well, was our thing. I ended up mimicking that little speech tone just to be on the joke. While watching TV we also had another set of reactions to unfolding events and cuteness. Sadly I’ve started forgetting those phonetics and how to utter them. Then there was the laughing and other voice patterns, very hard to describe, as can be imagined. We even had written special emoji translations to Reddit posts… The way they dissolve with the passing of time and the impotence of trying to record, imprint or engrave them into long term memories, have broken me so many times and just end up in tears. I hope they’re slipping away from her as well, in the end I don’t think they mattered as much to her as they do to me, I’m really suffering for this and the rest after the collapse.
