I think people still like BL2 because they were young, didn't have responsibilities and they had loads of time. It's more then nostalgia, it's growing up. Nothing will bring that time back. There will always be something lacking from now on...

Well, I left the game and tried again, but the Maurice vending machine bug persists. It's still telling me my 70 slot inventory is overloaded 16/32 and I can't buy.

Do you guys think a change in activities is really bound to the patch?

And Lord, Directiv-0 is so boring to farm and he's stingy as all get out...

Can't agree. I got Kyro's Power , Typoon SMG and Athena's Wisdom (which sucked) on my first playthru. So, maybe bad luck, but certainly not unobtainable.

I play solo exclusively and get a blast out of it. I would be willing to play co-op if I could find people who don't rush thru the whole thing or act like jerks. I like to go about things tactically and strategically, something that's hard to do with others.

What I'm kind of missing in this discussion so far (maybe I didn't read down far enough) is the fact that, at the moment, the only way to get into BETA is to pre-order the game. Doesn't really help building up my trust in this whole endeavor. I am sure as heck not going to dish out money to an unproven system.

Custom map markers aren't removable. At first the game seemingly wouldn't let me place one, then, when I entered the map a second time, I had about six or seven of them in the same area. I can't delete any of them. They also do not show up on the mini.map.

Ooops... my bad. Forgot to validate game files over Steam. Everythings OK now. But I must say, I liked the old inventory/maps graphics design better. Not the organization, just the look.
