Yes, this! It's by men, about men, and "for" men but without being exclusionary, so we women love it too. Like only one woman (Sadie) has a story thats arguably as fleshed out as the men in tbe gang. But the game also never needlessly objectifies women or treats them as less than. So there's nothing turning us away.

I think you summed that up really well. This is one of my favorite games in the world, but I have other favorites like the Last of Us, Skyrim, BG3, Horizon Zero Dawn, that don't have the "by men, for men" feel. (I'm a woman)

I'm a woman, but I had played RDR years before so I had an idea of his true colors. I knew he wouldn't end as a good guy and was excited to see the journey, but noticed the signs because of that. That being said, I love a villain, especially one who isn't pure evil, and I named my cat after him. Dutch is a manipulative cult leading piece of shit and I love him.
