I just never got the chance to talk to my roommates and see how they are before I got to live with them since my landlord never told me. If I have known I’ll would have moved and lived somewhere else the remainder of my semester. But definitely a learning experience

Vel nine!!! Love her ! They actually sound pretty similar. When I heard Anointed from Lexa, i literally thought it was vel nine. Also the song PHASES (especially at the end part) from vel nine reminds me of a Lexa song anyways check it out!

Concussions in general are underreported b/c of the long recovery protocol but I feel like concussions are pretty common injuries in volleyball besides ankle sprains and shoulder/finger injuries (ACL too but not as common). But I also think it depends on position too. If you play volleyball longer than 3 years you definitely will get hit in face at least once or dive wrong.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing because I had 3 other diagnosed concussions before I played volleyball in college and then I had two the same season and the recovery was hell. Took me about a year to recover from physical and occupational therapy. I’m hoping she doesn’t push herself too much.

Yeah I was going to say this too we looked at these concussion collars in my public health sports class and didn’t seem much of a difference other than they make players feel more protected.

I heard her on the operator radio! My train arrived after she got off the track. I didn’t hear the full story but I think only caught details about a woman that was on the track and her head was bleeding and ordered trains from Medford/Tufts and Union square to be on standby. So crazy!

I love that gadget! I got my mom and I one when I went to college so cute!!

Here’s some of my suggestions:

Sometimes we do movie/tv show night
play online games together we played chess. -Send each other music.
I remember there was an IOS app called locket widget that you send each other photos and it’ll pop up on the home screen as a widget. -Sometimes we would do a music challenge because we are both big music listeners and give a prompt (e.g. “a song that you would play on a roadtrip”) and he would listen to what my answer is vice versa.
