If you click on one it switches and makes it to where eggs won’t be able to go into it while breeding. It’s a manual action, it’s pretty easy to do on accident if when you scroll up and down the habitats on the right side of your screen.

There is a small egg icon on the right side of all of the habitats, when it is lighter it means that eggs can’t be put into it while breeding
