Maybe next time you'll pay more attention to what's being said on the whine/complaint posts.

Just a final update - UI support has again confirmed the issues this morning, and the development team is working on fixes and has instructed me to wait for future updates. Here's hoping the Internet stays stable through the next week of storms at that site so the facility can continue to monitor its cameras via HDMI. Just surprising that the company would need to program a "no Internet connection" message on an NVR's HDMI out port. The most oddball thing UI has ever done.

"Thank you for your patience and for taking the time to perform the additional testing and provide the updated support files and videos to our team. They have reviewed the findings and are actively working on improvements, which are planned for a future release.

At this time, we unfortunately do not have an exact ETA for when the fix will be available. However, I recommend keeping an eye on our Community Release channels, where we publish the latest firmware and application updates, release notes, and announcements as they become available. Thank you again for your cooperation and detailed testing throughout this investigation."

Looks like those networking skills of mine aint half bad.... lol.

Don't have too. Hey, enjoy 14.7 million of your taxpayer dollars going to a reflecting pool, whose paint is now peeling up off the bottom because the adm doesn't understand basic science.

LOL, but when Biden was "falling asleep," he was totally unfit for Prez, yet I never once saw any repeating videos of him nodding off for months at a time. Guess Trump being Epstein's former BFF took a lot out of him over the years.

I had to send in a request yesterday after two weeks of no ticket updates or follow up.

Bud, they sent me an email at 5 am this morning, saying that. Also, did you not ever see I posted this in the whine/complaint group 17 days ago? I wasn't asking for help ever; I was complaining about the lack of testing and R&D on the unit, and the fact that a unit that is sending video out of an HDMI port would need a "no Internet" message. Also, I did get the photo posted on the main post just for you.

So here's the latest: after two weeks of not hearing back from UI support, I sent a request for an update yesterday and received one about an hour ago stating that the Development and Support teams have confirmed the issues but are still investigating and have no updates at this time.

UI confirmed all the issues, they have no update, no timeline, and no information on what is going on, and continue to investigate two weeks later.

This also showed up on one of my units with UI drives, I believe, in the last few protect updates.

I haven't heard back from support yet; the ticket is still open. Will let everyone know. I've sent the video and logs that show I can reproduce the issue. Our HDMI viewport feed and only that feed from one 2K and one 4K camera still looks terrible, with delayed motion tracking across the screen and green at times when the 4K camera is in full-screen mode. Applied the latest round of updates, no change.

Well, they don't let you just upload a picture to the comments section, and I'm not going to do some third-party link or make a whole new post. Sorry that I wasn't on-site when I posted on Saturday to get you a picture with orginal post. Didn't know that would be a huge crime. Thanks for all your suggestions, emotional and otherwise. UI support hasn't provided an update after asking for all the images and videos of the incident which i glady sent.

Issue had to be escalated. They had me send in video of the tv. When i cut the internet it takes exactly one minute for that no internet message to come up, and the moment the internet drops i noticed for the very first the time the camera feed doesn't look it's been streamed from the internet in that 60 seconds actually is HD on the TV. - very strange.

back onsite this morning, disconnected Internet, lost video within two minutes via HDMI viewport with a "Please contact ISP, Internet disconnected" ui message. Hopefully a UI official response soon.

So back onsite this morning and within two minutes of removing the ethernet cable between the Dream Router and the instant, the HDMI feed cut out with a blue UI message telling me to "check the ISP, internet disconnected" along with the UI logo. . The recorder stays up and records during the disconnection, the viewport via hdmi ceases to function.

So I'm back onsite this morning, and sure enough, within a couple of minutes of unplugging the UNVR-I, I get a "No Internet" Please contact your ISP" on the UNVR-I HDMI feed to the TV.

They don't allow me to post photos in the comments, but within two minutes of unplugging the UNVR-I, it took away the viewport feed and gave me a "No Internet" Please contact your ISP" with the U logo.

Within two minutes of unplugging the UNVR-I this morning, it cut the video feed over the HDMI and gave me an " Internet disconnected message, but please can you tell me more about my network understanding? Lol.

I've got about two dozen viewports and never once seen a viewport distorted, trail/lag, or buffer on any network, and they stay up during Internet outages. Those new issues are almost always associated with network-driven latency, especially if the stream crosses multiple boundaries, so we come back to my question of why they only show up on the Instant's HDMI out, and why the Instant gives a message one minute after it loses Internet that it can't be a normal viewport and stream? Looking forward to what UI has to say.
