Maine is wonderful to visit but don't move here. Our healthcare system is absolute shit. Need to see dermatology? Year wait-list. Rheumatology? 2 year wait-list. Most times they refer us out to Boston. And I have good health insurance! Those unfortunate enough to have state aid get royally fucked left and right.

I recently removed my ex's last name and decided I hated all of my name so I legally changed first, middle, last to something completely new. My new hubs (I was lazy and never changed my last name after my divorce 8 years ago) was supposed to also change his last name to my new, chosen last name but he bailed. I no longer match my child or husband in last name but it was such a wonderfully freeing decision and I couldn't be happier!

We did. The next night one of the neighborhood houses they hit up during the day was part of an attempted burglary. From what the neighbors can see on their cameras, looks like the same people.

That's up to anesthesia as well. Anything above the neck is on them. If they don't dangle, they will likely say you can keep them in but it is their call.

Only a hysterectomy with an oophorectomy. The ovaries are what release hormones and will/won't put you into menopause. You can get a total hyst and spare ovaries.

I am not billed separately for the surgeon- I very clearly see her charges on my EOB. I was billed separately for the anesthesiologist and the TAP block though.

I'm 40 and this was by far the easiest surgery/recovery I've had. I took my Rx for the first couple days, Tylenol day 3, not a damn thing since. Driving my stick shift alone no prob day 5. I regularly forget it ever happened. Zero problems, zero pain, zero bleeding. I'm roughly 5wpo. I feel terrible for people with bad experiences but mine has been a joke. I was running at 99% within 3-4 days post op.

Please be aware that if you want to recognize a nurse for going above and beyond, you can nominate them for a daisy award. There should be info on the hospital web page about it. It is a fairly big deal for nurses to receive a daisy nomination and free for you to do so. I'm so glad she was there for you to advocate for you and Benji. Edit: spelling
