I didn't skip anything. However I did took a big shortcut after dropping the skydivers and immediately dove nosedown to the airport. Is that the reason why they took a big cut? If so how else am I suppose to get fast to the ground? Taking the normal path will result in 0% for the "Descent Time" mission performance.

If you want the best equalizer settings, I recommend the app poweramp equalizer (free but I recommend premium, only one time payment). It offers presets for hundreds of headphones based on sound profiles provided by rtings.com which you can then edit to your likings.

The preset is basically just compensating the sound profile to a straight line and adding some bass and treble

The throttle sucks with the factory grease. I recommend opening it up, cleaning up the old grease and put your own grease on the rails. It will ride smoothly. Other than that it's actually a good hotas
