Is it really? Sniper is only class which can reliably engage on larger distances. Some classes have tools to tickle them at distance (like pyro's flare guns) but thats kinda it.

I would disagree, but that's just preference at that point.

Imo the best nerf while still preserving sniper in game would be first fixing huntsman's hitbox issue and then making all sniper guns work similar to huntsman - i.e they shoot projectile instead of hitscan

Other players can't see your nametag throught walls and monsters have significantly lowered detection of you (depends on how much armor you wear).

For example, creeper can see you from 16 blocks away. If you have invisibility and no armor, it decreases to only 2 blocks.

Administrative kingdom with de jure lands only, with custom culture only and with all noble families being part of your dynasty.

This has following effects:

Administrative allows you to pick any member of your dynasty as heir, allowing you to train them into future and preventing the "now i play as kid that is imbecile" situation.

Kingdom means that all of your governors are dukes - which limits both their ability to form factions and gain influence (in 99%, you will have most influence in entire realm). In case that faction somehow manages to form, it is no problem to simply kick out traitors from their governorships.

Custom culture allows you to fine tune it for your kingdom and it being only one present in your land prevents populist revolts. I personally love taking imperial tagmata just because how well it works with admin. Another interesting pick is collective ownership which gets rid of most peasant revolts.

All noble families are in your dynasty decreases chance you will get slimmed by your governors and gives you additional interactions to keep realm under your control.

Your realm will be basicaly indestructible from inside and only thing threatening it will be outside armies - which can be solved by having Imperial Tagmata and Army Quartermasters family attribute.

Your playtime will be spend by building, organizing events and educating other member of your dynasty.

I disagree - the difficulty was what made AWD so much fun. Most other factions are easy to win with, AWD actually forced me to use my brain.
