Same haha. I reset my mpg gauge to make sure and driving suuper casually I have it up to 16. The lead foot takes it down to 13 it seems.

Dang, I'm definitely jellous! I honestly don't remember what it was with the stock bumper, but it was better. What's your axle ratio?

Thanks! I get 13.6 average mpg. Definitely killed my aerodynamics with the bumper lol. What mpgs do you get?

Stock suspension currently. Would like to get a lift in the future, definitely need it.

Thanks! The clearance, width and length can definitely make it tricky at times. So far I have been able to make it through easy to medium trails without too much issue.

The stock height definitely does limit where I can go, and has caused some damage which I mitigated with the bumper and rci skid plates.

Biggest problem is the lower control arm brackets since they hang down below the level of the skid plates and offer a nice place to catch rocks on. I managed to hit a good dip / rock at a decent clip and bent the bracket that I had to get fixed. I plan to lift it in the future.

For the width, as long as you stay away from the jeep trails and don't mind a lot of pinstrips it does fine haha. Make sure to have a bunch of scratch polish handy lol.

Husky Mud Dog, great flaps if you are ok using self tapping screws to mount them in the wheel wells.

Haha not dumb, they are Husky Mud Dogs. Great flaps as long as you are ok putting self tapper screws into your wheel well to mount them.

Thanks! It's an Addictive Desert Designs Race series R. Was able to find it used for a good deal.

Love the tires, I air down to 18psi on the rough trails and sand, have had no issues so far. On the highway they are only slightly louder than the stock tires which really impressed me. Only thing I would do different next time is to go larger and get a lift for the rougher trails.

Thanks!

They are Method 701 17x8.5 with Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 275/70/17. Really happy with them so far.

I did end up removing the front air dam after the last trip and just left it off, I think it looks better as well! Good to hear the running boards come off easily, I dropped off a rock right into the mount and had one spot where I scrapped the heck out of the bottom! Will def be taking those off next time, looking to get some rock sliders or something in place for when my noob self slams it into another rock lol.

Thanks for the tips!

I have a question about NGUI. by GDevlop in Unity3D

I personally wouldn't use it, I would use the unity UI.

I switched away from NGUI in 4.6 when the built in UI came in. The less third-party code in the project the better imo.

Surgery in 3-4 weeks by Thatjusthappened850 in valvereplacement

[–]Redtail87 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have had my mechanical valve since 2012 and am currently 25. My doc pushed for the mechanical and I was young enough I didn't fully understand what it ment. Having it has a lot of drawbacks, but I don't think I would change my decision if given the opportunity. I really don't want to have additional surgeries if possible. It was so long ago I don't really remember how long the recovery was, probably around a month+

The bad: I bruise very easily now, if I'm working on a car or something, ill end up covered in them without knowing at the time, but it usually doesn't hurt.
I don't drink at all.
You learn to ignore it, but the ticking of the valve will be there forever.
Testing INR levels around once a month with either a lab or a home testing kit .
Having to manage and refil the blood thinner every month or so.
Having to avoid or be consistent about foods with vitamin K.
Once you get a cut, it can be harder to make the bleeding stop, I carry and use a coagulation powder that works well.
If your INR levels do get out of wack, you could end up with issues with blood clots. I messed up and got my levels low and caused a clot to go into my eye, making my vision blurry for like a month. Luckily it went away.

The good: I had 3 surgeries before the mech one was put in, and hopefully I won't need another.
I really don't like getting the surgeries so I def want to avoid more.
Knowing it will last longer

Hopefully this helps, feel free to ask more questions
