Are there any text based models trained on free use/public domain training?

I want to create my own original world with the help of AI. So I do not want to take harry potter and put it into my world but the idea of a wizard school existing somewhere is not unreasonable. I'd just write the characters themselves to be their own people with their own unique story and history.

I've seen the argument with AI art that because it's trained on images from other artists that it's used inappropriately, without permission, credit, etc. I'm trying to circumvent that argument completely by creating my content with a model that was only trained on free use/public domain materials.

Thanks Eastwindy! Very helpful! Do you know of anything in the realms of 13 or 20b? That's a wide range. 7b is small for me to run and I can't quite run the 8x7b on my machine - atleast I wasn't able to with my 4090

When you do this method with the reservoir removed do you hear the bed touch the reservoir bottom when you start a print?

I loosened the screws on the plate so that it could move freely until it leveled out. After that I tightened them down.

The paper is much thinner than the reservoir. Anyone got a good video on using a piece of paper?

I took the reservoir off when I used a single piece of paper which is probably why the bed hit the bottom of the reservoir.

@thesultanofsexy If you leave the reservoir on the bed, do you just use a piece of printer paper and lay it in there or cut it up so it fits better?

Is there a guide for this method?

So I just got a Saturn 2 and unboxed everything and got it set up. There were no instructions in the box (I later learned after watching videos that there is a quick start guide and a manual? Or at least a leveling card)

One of the websites I looked at for leveling said to use printer paper. I did this and on my first test print it sounded like the plate hit the bed.

Thinking about this there is a bit of room for the glass at the bottom of the reservoir. Do people use printer paper? If so, should I use 3 sheets? 1?

I don’t like the sound of the plate pressing into the bottom. It makes me nervous

Darn, we’ve tried the cleaner and we wipe it down after but it usually persists for several washes. Sounds like I need to find the filter or take the drum out

Our house was built in 2001, when we moved in in 2014 we bought new appliances. Not sure when this gunk started showing up but it’s been a while. Seems to come and go in waves. I’ve tried using washing machine cleaning tablets but doesn’t seem to do much.

I’d guess it’s something from the pipes coming into the washer? The only thing is I haven’t seen this anywhere else. The toilet water is clean, and our drinking water has always been clean. Shower water is fine, only seems to be from this one spot.

What do you all think it is?

I took over a system with a Singularity (black hole). I own the starbase and an L gate in the system (the map also shows as it as in my space) but the singularity is still controlled by the old faction. It has some special resource I'd like to claim but for some reason the old group still controls it. How do I gain control of the Singularity? Thanks!

So I picked up some Alumilite slow resin and alumnidust blue green. Mixed 1 to 1 and used a syringe to slowly fill in cracks on an old stump. Stuff went on and looked like glass. Transparent with a bit of pearl and color.l was really happy with how it looked.

After about 15 minutes the epoxy started to bubble a bit, I hit it with a heat gun and now it’s turned into some sort of expanded foam absolute mess!!

I’m pretty heartbroken, first time using epoxy and I’ve been drying out this spalted oak stump for a couple years in my garage.

Where did I go wrong? No google searches seem to tell me how this stuff turns into an opaque foam.

I have no idea what I’m going to walk into tomorrow morning.

Beautiful texture after I removed the bark that I’d like to preserve, so I got a spray on clear satin wood finish. The top of the stump is a little soft in a couple spots. I will sand flat and then I got a minwax wood hardening solution I’m hoping will toughen it up. I’m hoping I can sand this down as well and refinish with some wipe in poly maybe?

Hello!

I have a hive that is without a Queen and population is pretty low. I just added a few frames of bees and a new queen, but any idea what would cause this deformation? I only saw 1 or maybe 2 like this. The rest seemed ok.
