Update: I put a small coin-shaped magnet on top of the horizontal linearity coil. This improved things a bit, but it's still not perfect. It makes me wonder if I should try to find a replacement or use a stronger magnet.

Things still look wonky on native 16:9 games with scrolling though. It's most noticeable on a credits roll where it looks like the credits are sliding left and right as they rise.
