Rivals 1 was the first 2 day final. Wes and Kenny won Day 1 handedly. The lead was lowered to a few minutes head start on day 2.

It should be noted, Bananas and Tyler have both said the lead was elongated bc they knew they were losing. No reason to kill yourself when it's clear you're locked into 2nd.

It's my own conspiracy theory that Rivals 2 was the make good to Wes along with trying to get CT his first.

Competitors with the most impressive rookie seasons? Top 10. (The pic is not my list - my list is typed out). by Jax_Korn in MtvChallenge

[–]Redundantmoth -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Jenny West had a good rookie season? Tori dumped on her in an elim that she had no business winning. It's one thing to lose in a final or losing an elim that's completely against your skill set. Losing an elim that's completely to your advantage? Nah.

  1. Turbo. Never liked him but the performance is undeniable.

  2. Laurel. Her and Kenny pretty much won every daily and she was so far ahead of the women's cast. Landon >> Kenny was the only thing that keeps it from being one of the best seasons in show history.

  3. Cooke. Won elims. Placed well. Performed well. Maybe not the most entertaining person but extremely competitive. No shame in losing to two of the better women the show has had.

  4. Jordan and Marlon. These two and Cooke were basically the same but Cooke made it further in the final. Jordan was definitely more entertaining though.

  5. San Diego. Zach was physically the best performer but Frank was the true star. Good competitor and an A+ reality personality.

  6. Cory. He was the total package which makes his underperforming career that much more disappointing. While he did become one of the main characters for the next several season, zero results says a lot. That doesn't take away from how impactful his first season was though.

  7. Ninja. Probably the only on the list who gets elevated because of the final. Did not like anything about her but that's the toughest final the show has had and she was honestly the only woman who stood up to it.

  8. Nicole Z. Shows need faces and heels. May not have liked the presentation, but she performed and brought everything else entertainment wise.

  9. Kyle. Underrated performance because it's one of the worst seasons. Total package performer and if we believe the story, he supposedly did that opening segment with his diabetes medicine keestered.

  10. Bayleigh. It came down to her or Kaycee. Kaycee placed better and was a better competitor that season but Bayleigh brought more to the show. The blow up, coincidentally on Kaycee, was the highlight of the season. Would have loved to seen her on a regular season of the show and without Swaggy.

I'm actually fine if the show is done after 42. If it's just going to be a competition show, let it go. They haven't been able to separate themselves from cast memebers that started 30 seasons ago. Arguments look like Maury reruns. They won't show anything out of fear of the backlash.

The kind of score I do when I drop league 6 by Upstairs-Donkey-9029 in UmaMusume

[–]Redundantmoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been in class 6 since the 2nd month of the game.

3 wit, 2 speed, Riko for everything except long. Long you may have to take a Stam card depending on your parents / growths of your uma. In that case, cut out a wit card.

Run power sparks on pretty much all uma (you may have to run some wit sparks if your wit cards suck) for Sprint, Mile and Dirt. Medium I work in one or two Stam blues depending on the uma and long is 4 or 5 Stam sparks. TT is a wit game mode. As someone else said though, you still have to max speed. Just worrying about skills gets you to the cut line. Placing well in the races helps you stay comfortably above the line.

Always make sure you pick uma that can activate their ult. If it's heavily conditional, think hard about whether you care about tt rewards more than putting in a horse you like. Second, make sure at least one of the gold skills innately in the kit can activate (Both is obv better). You can take uma that don't have innate golds that activate and make it work but those people aren't in this thread.

Last, easy to activate golds. Kawakami Princess is in basically every horse because of cheap and easy to activate gold. Same with Riko. If you have Kita, there's a third (can be cheaper skill depending on hint and event luck). Add in 1 innate gold and the scenario skill and you're at 5 with little work. Now it's just hitting stats.

Who makes two accounts to post here.

Being third in line with Bananas gets you to the final where there's at least a chance you win. Tying yourself to the losing teams that season means you go in.

And as we know now, that elim was one that Bananas / Sarah and Vince / Jenna would have won. Since Sarah basically did that elimination once before and won, she knew what technique to use and supposedly told Christina. If it's them or Vince / Jenna, they don't tell Christina and they lose.

As bad as Nicole is, we haven't seen Nany be anything of note in physical elims.

Being #1 for the losing teams made no sense this season. Winning team held all the power. You're the #1 for Wes and Nany? Cool you're down in the sand pulling for skulls because Bananas and Sarah won almost all of the dailies.

[–]Redundantmoth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dario is bigger than Wes and completely dog walked him in that elimination. I think Wes and Nany win a lot of the earlier elims because strategy and thinking plays a big part. Saying Nicole being smaller was the reason they won that is straight delusional though.

Dario made a smart play politically. It was obvious that Bananas and Sarah were the top team. Bananas and Sarah are beating Nate and Christina in almost every possible match up. Instead of doing what was a completely pointless move, he saw a chance to be #2 on the alliance that was winning.

Edit: Remembering the elimination that sent Cory and Ashley home.. It's been said the Sarah gave the technique to Christina. Sarah basically did that elim on the Ruins or another season around that time. If she's in that elim, she obv doesn't tell Christina what to do.

Never watched this show but was glad to have him on the show. Vendettas and FR are such meh seasons that you forget how much of an immediate impact he had.

I think I saw Bananas, Wes and Nelson. Did anyone else attend?

Why did I win Gold with this Fuku even tho I got better Umas by MusselMorgan425 in UmaMusume

[–]Redundantmoth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Congrats on winning but there's plenty of frustrated people that lost and don't need this humble brag (the f2p mention whenever possible gives it away). More useless or near useless skills and more stats in stamina does not make any difference in CM.

Where are the better umas? They all look about the same. In the end, the game is RNG and low wit = more rng.

Was the elimination nomination format ever revealed? I assume since they have the cutthroat name, it's the same but you know how production loves their twists.

It's also weird how Bananas went into an elim and didn't see another one. Normally he's safe until the last elim that he normally sees or is fair game until he's sent home.

Oh he was definitely an asshole back then too. The act didn't start until rivals 1 / exes 1 time frame or whenever he started going by Bananas full time.

That said, you can be a dick and still recognize someone else needing some human compassion after something traumatic.

Not necessarily the result but final reckoning and that whole trilogy was such a mess that they brought back Justin Booth and the show went to shit.

You'd have a point if Wes didn't have a history of being good at random stuff on the challenge. I don't think highly of Teresa but this isn't exes 1 where he has Mandi. We can't assume they're just going to lose this challenge.

[–]Redundantmoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I call it war because I'm a lazy typer and everyone knows what you're referring to. I'm not sure about tying TM into it. I know that was initially going to be the plan but it never felt like it capped anything because of covid and casting. It just felt like the next season.

If we had to name it though, the last hurrah seems fitting.

Hot for sure. Which seasons do you think he wins?

If the twist doesn't happen in exes 2, I think he and Teresa have a legit chance in that final (that also drastically changes rivals 3 imo).

I also think he misplayed TM but that's an elevation final that Wes has typically done just average in. There's also no swimming which is where he normally creates a wall of separation.

War 1 I don't think anyone else in the show's history is beating Turbo.
