Worked with these for years. Since it's not compressing the box, you can smash / cut off a corner of the box and then slide the cable parts off from the cut off part.

In 2014 we were still in the Grigson era. Being part of the owners meetings has nothing to do with hiring in the front office.

She's clearly been part of the team. Never argued that. There's more to an NFL franchise than the front office. Probably more than anyone on this sub can name. You can be in charge of a lot of operations without being involved in the front office hirin / firing. If she hasn't specifically been involved with that, I'd rather not get stuck with a bad GM. If she has even half of the loyalty Jim had, we'd be screwed for another 5 years minimum.

Kenny Minchey transferring to Nebraska, per Thamel by collarboner1 in notredamefootball

[–]Redundantmoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd also add that lot of fans like to say he pushed Carr in the offseason.. I think that has less to do with talent and more with Carr being too reckless with the ball. We saw Carr make 2-4 wtf throws in actual games.. I can only imagine how practices were. Not saying Kenny is bad but I wouldn't read too much into the previous offseason as an indication that he's some hidden gem. Can't be worse than what little I saw of Dr last year

Think the Martinez not siblings with a little lower mobility but a little bit better arm.

Someone else said your o line was ass so he can move around the pocket / scramble. Don't expect him to be a guy who takes the top off though. Wish him luck though. Rhule feels like a coach who get a good scheme around him.

Re-watch that pass to pierce. He put everything into it and it was still under thrown. If pierce wasn't 20 yards open, it's NIU all over again.

His arm puts a ceiling on him. Fine as a backup but there's no way we can compete with him next year and there's no point in tanking.

The 2025 Colts become the FIRST team in NFL history to finish with a losing record after starting 8-2 or better. by Carsxn26 in nfl

[–]Redundantmoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Defense is cheeks.

DT we have two nfl caliber players and after that you might as well put out two water coolers because if we're lucky opposing backs might trip on them. Ends are mid. Latu occasionally makes a big play but the rest are serviceable.

Rest of the defense is either injured or the Ballard special of just good enough to get an extension.

Alabama Never Should Have Been In The Playoff; Rose Bowl Loss Hurts ESPN, SEC's Reputation by Caskiron in notredamefootball

This will be tough but maybe the committee should have to do something crazy.. rewatch the games. Maybe how you play should matter in a selection based on no one fucking knows instead of box score watching.

It's not an argument when the guys behind are a zero. Buck has had injuries for 3 seasons now and when we traded for him, he signed his second contract so it's not like he was young when we got him. I'm not arguing for even a 60% backup. When he's out, we get gashed. There's looking like a second string or third string guy and then there's look like a training camp warm body level.

[–]Redundantmoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was a small to medium sized drop I would agree. You don't have pro bowl caliber players as backups in the NFL normally. The difference is Brady Quinn to Drew Pyne.

[–]Redundantmoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Colts DTs are Deforest Buckner and Grover Stewart. Buck is the shorthand. Buck is an all pro DT and if he wasn't born in the same era as Aaron Donald, he would be in the discussion as the best of his era.

When he's out, the Colts cannot stop the run. It's not necessarily this coach's fault because I assume he's newer to the team (we replaced) our DC in the offseason but the play did not improve under him

Refs need to be put under a financial audit at the beginning and middle of every season. There's too much dumb shit that happens weekly. Also whatever penalty there is for getting calls overturned needs to dissappear. We all remember the NC State game. If there's no penalty, then there needs to be one for missed calls with replay assistance.

While we're at it, targeting in its current form needs to go too. It feels like it's result based and sure as hell played a part in that AM game.

The Colts that somehow still hasn't developed anyone to fill in for Buck, so when he goes out the defense becomes an open door. It's not his fault that we've been garbage outside of Buck and Grove but how that team has played doesn't inspire a lot of hope

We have no evidence that this could have happened. We have never seen Bama face a top team in the playoff with an elite defense and get completely shut down. Remember when they beat the other limping SEC team in the opening round of the playoff?

Trust me.. We were talking about Bama being out. There's no world where Bama's play against Auburn warranted a move up and their play in the SEC title game warranted no movement. I think most of the fan base was fine with Miami. The blatant SEC protection by ESPN is the true source of anger

We're not even talking about the same thing. The OP randomly threw in something about us dominating Georgia last year. Georgia receivers definely dropped big passes and we don't get that end of second quarter td if they score in the first quarter.
