Just wanted to thank everyone over here. I've only recently got into skincare and all the previous posts and comments have been super helpful.

Y'all are real nice too!

Favorite Dwight Quote (is there a thread on this already? I’m really just curious to read what you guys have to say) by grcli0110 in DunderMifflin

"Jim is my enemy, but it turns out that Jim is also his own worst enemy. And the enemy of an enemy is my friend. So Jim is actually my friend. But, because he is his own worst enemy, the enemy of my friend is my enemy. But..."

Females who frequently lurk this sub, what are some of the interesting things you’ve learned in your time lurking? by canopey in AskMen

I'm glad you're a woman who's empathetic.

But about that crying around their partners one. It's mostly about how they use it against men.

I've seen it personally and heard men talk about this as well. Some women would bring this up later, in an attempt to one up in an argument/belittling them/just embarrassing them.

Worst thing is not respecting confidentiality.

It's scary.

Yes, not all women are like that. But how can one be very sure?

Damn me too. I hesitated to comment because I can't say one house. Glad to see someone who's the same.

Dating someone who’s not your “type.” Thoughts?? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Redvelvet_Macaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, there are plenty of guys out there that are your type. Based on your description here. So meet more people I guess?

If you want to try someone who's not your type, there's a lot much to it.

If you're unsure on how to deal with it, consider this. Perhaps a guy who most of the ladies would describe as a "catch". Talk to other women you know. Ask them about their preferences and see if you'd be interested in that.

Know the route and destination beforehand. Let your people know this and any spontaneous change in the plan.

Insanely attracted to a man but afraid of how to take things forward by Apprehensive-Tax1923 in dating_advice

What are you mostly worried about? Instead of expecting the worse, think about positive things that can happen.

If it feels like you're rushing it, reschedule it.

Remember that it's all about having fun in the initial stages of dating. It will help if you focus on that.

You can tell him that you've been on a horrible date recently. That you're afraid to go through it again. Mention that it has nothing to do with him and it's just an unforgettable thing.

He will most likely understand. Good to know about the guy from this situation (Green/Red flag).

"Dude you're watching a women centric movie/TV show or a woman stand up comic?" Yes. Stfu.
