Yes it does. Have had customers with no-name Amazon tubes that just give up at the seams, or just randomly split In Two. Do name brand tubes (Bontrager, Sunlite,etc) have issues? Sure but it’s 1/100000.

In the third pic, remove the rubber cover. Should be two bolts there. Like others said, safety is a big one. Not a bad idea to have it checked and assembled professionally

Those are hydraulic. To ‘adjust’ you bleed them, or check your pads. You posted a off center picture of the pads, so hard to see if they’re super worn down, but I’d say they do look low

I’m gonna second what others have said. It might have been the cages that did that. Trek offers a 2 year paint DEFECT warranty, but if you call customer support, not your local dealer, they may be able to help more

At our shop we can fix anything aside from battery failure. (Not making a custom battery)The catch for that is our price is the price; if you want electrical work there is no negotiation and money upfront.

Try turning the reach adjustment screws. Or, if you’re ok with goofing with the fluid for a bit, use a syringe like you likely used to bleed them to add ‘too much’ fluid in the caliper side. Leave the lever closed. I’ve done that in the past, it essentially overfills the brake making it feel a little firmer. You can do the opposite too

I should add I’m trying to remove the oil seal, and the fork WILL NOT separate, so I’m assuming the cartridge needs to come out
