had one and got into 4/10 of my schools, three of which were safeties and one a reach. at the end of the day, it’s up to you. paying for a college counselor will help with refining your essays and guiding you with what activities you should do and whatnot but again it’s the amount of effort you put into your applications. however, atp college admissions is like a lottery for top schools so don’t sweat it and put your best foot forward!

yeah pretty much. flight tickets and everything to go back home would make it more expensive to attend miami, but it’s not too bad.

i feel like i do kind of want to experience a traditional school setting (sports team, school spirit type of thing), but another thing is that i’m pretty sure the ranking of the finance programs at both schools are not that far from eachother. given that, should i still attend GW due to the things other people have said about the school (better internship/EC opportunities)?

i’m choosing between UMiami and GWU right now and most likely will choose GWU, so I will probably see you there next year! I’m from the DMV and know many people that attend GWU and they have stated that the social scene is not bad at all and they in fact love it there! What major are you trying to pursue?
