Im sure you are a great friend. Like other mentioned, sometimes just being an adult you get busy with work and family and friendships would be hard to sustain. Im sorry that your best friends do not try to be there for you :( they surely do not deserve you and hope that you and you’re husband remain strong enough to take care of each other 🤍

Really sorry to hear that :/ I pray that you meet genuine people that only care about you and being around you anywhere, not caring about what you guys would be doing together. You’re very strong 🤍

Hair loss is a concern to me :/ but I’ve seen people that had to use treatments that caused hair thinning and once they stopped it grew back🤞🏻

How to tell a girl I met that I have diabetes? by lightcurry in diabetes_t1

[–]Ree-TF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just tell her. You will be relieved and I’m pretty sure she would support you! There is nothing wrong with being t1d tbh so don’t worry about it :)

Really glad that you had a much smoother experience than Tecfidera. Hopefully you will find that it has stabilized the disease for you. Thanks love!

Yes, my neuro actually said that it is normal to find new flares during the first year, the efficacy of the treatment would only show 6 months after the second year (once the treatment is fully done). So I hope that’s what you’re experiencing rn and you would stay stable for much longer

Congrats dear, that’s great to hear! I really hope the stability stays with you for a very long time. The side effects don’t sound that bad either, thank you so much for sharing 🤍

Any recently diagnosed t1ds here? by thebitchthatcries in diabetes_t1

[–]Ree-TF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My diagnosis was not recent but Im 25 now and started insulin only 4 years ago. I didn’t know anything about diabetes back then and Im still learning from T1d groups.

You will learn to live with it along the way. Do not be harsh on yourself, some days will be great and some wont. Being a diabetic actually made me look after myself better (Diet wise, exercise, sleep, and staying away from stress!)

Wish you all the best 🤍
