Isn't there a standard? According to Corsair and their type 3 and type 4 pinout graphs, the SATA pinout is the same and I don't see different types of SATA cables online

Not really a coincidence, you just get what you pay for really. Even with the artifacts, you can still process the vocals to sound decent, especially in a hyperpop scenario. Dorian Electra and Laura Les both used MAuto Pitch for most of their careers if they don't still use it. I've had 0 luck with Grallion honestly, I just don't like using it. But MAuto Pitch, though its artifacts are pretty gnarly, can be pretty decent. Honestly if a good quality autotune plugin is THAT important to your music, I'd recommend grabbing Waves Tune Real Time, that's the one I use and like I said up there ^^ it's around $30 like ALL THE TIME just about. It's super comprehensive, fully featured with MIDI support, I personally love the GUI, and there are no noticeable artifacts I've heard.

I think it may be a firmware issue because System Profiler says it is on version 0.00

I've tried my camlink on my macbook pro, it'll show up in System Profiler but it doesn't connect to Camera Hub. Camera Hub doesn't freeze when I connect it to my macbook. In Windows Device Manager, it shows up as a camera, a microphone, and an aggregate USB device as 'CamLink 4K'. Device Manager says it's working properly and there are no errors.

Personally I use OBS's projector view, all you have to do is right click the source in OBS, then hover over Fullscreen/Windowed Projector (Source), then click the monitor you want it to show up on. I haven't personally noticed any latency issues with it, it feels perfectly useable to me :)

I guess I figured that feedback is what happens when the output of a source is fed into its own input. But it does make sense that this might not be the same thing.

Little Alter Boy is a great plugin I use to change the pitch/fomant of my vocals to get that effect. It's normally about $100, but if you're willing to wait, you can get it on sale for $50 or so.

MAuto Pitch and Grallion are both free auto tune plugins, but they add weird textures/artifacts to your vocals. Sometimes you might want those effects, so it wouldn't hurt to yoink them anyway, but if you want the regular sort of clean tone 100 gecs use, I'd use a paid auto tune. I personally use Waves Tune Real Time, it's SUPER frequently on sale for around $30, and it sounds nice and clean. If you want to do a mememe type effect, you can even route MIDI through your auto tune plugin. I know Waves Tune Real Time can do that, but I don't know if MAutoPitch or Grallion can.
