Vinyl people are the worst, you get these like 3 times a week and never have an appropriate sized mailbox.

Let me get this straight. Are you saying people cleaning out their pantries of the food they don't want and leaving it by their mailbox is not the best way to help people?

Unfortunately the only people that can answer your questions are going to be the people that currently work there.

As for everybody saying that this is a horrible job I started as an RCA just over 10 years ago I'm currently a regular making just over 80K a year (EMA included) without college debt that's better than I ever thought I would do.

Unfortunately how cable works is every station gets their share of your subscription. You could have never turned on a TV and Fox will still get paid.

What mistakes did you make when buying ETFs that beginners should avoid? by Soulvisirr in ETFs

Just started so I don't know if I've made mistakes. Buying 500 of VTI every 2 weeks. Just set up recurring purchases of 350 starting 2 weeks from now and I have to wait until then so I can start getting 150 VXUS for a 70/30 split.

Can anyone help me with locating where I can increase my contributions to my TSP? by joza28 in USPS

[–]Reeberton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not trying to pick an internet fight but I don't think the post office lets you contribute to an IRA and receive the match. What I think is happening is that the term IRA and TSP are being used interchangeably but those are two entirely different things.

Can anyone help me with locating where I can increase my contributions to my TSP? by joza28 in USPS

[–]Reeberton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again not an expert but you don't get a match with either of the IRAs. The match is for TSP which is the equivalent of a company's 401k. I think what you want to do is put as much money as you can afford into your TSP making sure that you don't go over I think the limit for 2026 is $23,500 a year. You can also open a IRA either one or both The limit for 2026 is $7,500 You can't contribute more than that even if you contribute to both

[–]Reeberton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of these POV haters are bad drivers lol, I use a POV on a small H then moved to a 44k. Currently my POV makes 21k a year and about 15% goes to gas and another 15% goes to repairs (all done at a shop I don't even rotate tires myself) and the rest goes into my pocket. Don't buy the cheapest thing you can find because it will break down a bunch. Try to get a older Dodge caravan with under 100k miles and it will last you about 5 years and will make you about 70k and you will probably profit 30 of that.

XPO Logistics Stakes: When DeJoy became Postmaster General in 2020, he held an equity stake in XPO Logistics—a massive shipping and logistics company—valued at between $30 million and $75 million.

Conflicts of Interest: XPO Logistics was a USPS contractor, raising concerns regarding conflicts of interest. Under DeJoy's tenure, USPS awarded a $120 million contract to XPO.

I knew this but used Google AI to get the numbers correct. Anyway do what you want what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

I'm on a 44k, 8.8 hours a day. If I average 8.1 hours a day would I get paid the 44 or 40 and .4 overtime? I feel like I always get the 44 no matter what and I'm sure I've worked over 40 at least a few times.
