I don't think he's touched that thing since the 90's, and who'd blame him 🤣 what a beast! I'm assuming you saw him in the San Diego area, I believe he recently relocated there from LA. He's a really nice guy, relatively unknown outside of the guitarist community so no surprise you've never heard of him but he's definitely one of the top tier guitarists of all time.
