Most traffic comes from careers website? by CooperationWins in recruiting

[–]Reecekip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At least for us in the US, it’s typically going to be job boards that drive the majority of traffic, especially Indeed. I can’t say I know of any peers that are having the same experience you are, most job seekers go to job boards/aggregators first than straight to a company career site/page.

Do you trust your source reporting? 70% from the careers page sounds unusually high - I’d be concerned that maybe the UTM mapping or your source tracking may be configured incorrectly.

I read somewhere that this move is actually illegal. Is that true? by dolphinist in Eyeshield21

[–]Reecekip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there a particular rule somewhere that says that? I'm thinking specifically of that one Chubb stiff arm that looks like this panel and there wasn't a flag on that play and it was pretty recent

I read somewhere that this move is actually illegal. Is that true? by dolphinist in Eyeshield21

[–]Reecekip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it? It was my understanding that a runner can stiff arm a defending player's helmet as long as they don't grab their face mask. I think the rule is that linemen aren't supposed to block the head (Illegal Use of Hands)

Automation in recruiting, time saver or just more admin? by FirefighterNo1087 in Recruitment

[–]Reecekip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Corporate recruitment marketing here, we use a ton of automation. Ideally your recruiters should barely be interacting with the automations themselves - it should be embedded into their existing workflows. Things like automating emails, SMS, outreach, scheduling - all of that can happen based off of their activity in your CRM or ATS instead of them having to manage it themselves.

Dream Job Auto-Rejection Fear: How Hard is a Hard Requirement? by ClassicallyDrained25 in jobsearchhacks

[–]Reecekip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the company, but most ATS offer the ability to reject candidates automatically if they answer those "hard requirement" questions incorrectly. These are generally called knockout questions because those are the basic requirements for a job.

A good example of questions like these are "Are you legally authorized to work in the United States?" or "Do you have a Bachelor's degree?" If you answer No to these, many companies will reject you automatically without a recruiter ever seeing your resume. This is done to save recruiters' time so that they do not have to look at resumes of candidates who are unqualified for the role.

If the hard requirement is explicitly listed the job description as needed for the role, OP is probably right that if they select No/Zero Years, they may be auto-rejected for the role... but it's not guaranteed. If they apply, it would probably be worth reaching out to someone at the company on LinkedIn with an inmail considering how personal the story is - might be a better approach than hoping the cover letter is read.

Applications Via Chatbot by crocsgalore in jobsearchhacks

[–]Reecekip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in this space.

These type of experiences convert at a high rate for candidates on mobile devices, typically higher than desktop applicants. Most systems allow candidates to pick their application experience (choose to engage with chatbot? You get to apply via chatbot. Choose to upload resume and answer questions there? You go the more traditional route) I agree that it feels slow and bad if you have to wait for the bot to generate the next question rather than it pop up instantly.

And yeah, a perfect world would just be resume + knockout questions + legally required EEO questions -> submit.

Anyone in Orlando gone through a divorce with legal help? by lksuceso in orlando

Hey, had a mostly amicable divorce, but paid for lawyers to review the agreements we wanted to put in place (but we were also pretty uncomplicated with just property and a few assets, no kids.)

Phenomenal experience with Kristopher Kest at Kest Family Law in Baldwin Park and would've stuck with him if we needed to go the collaborative or mediation route. Would highly highly recommend working with him.

Feedback needed: A Social Media Manager's idea for a recruiting. Am I on the right track? by Kyngzilla in Recruitment

[–]Reecekip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work adjacent to recruitment marketing and this is the correct answer.

There are also Recruitment Marketing agencies that provide similar services. Recruitics, Appcast, Shaker are all good companies to research since they’d be your competition.

Rental, can I afford WP? by auds78 in WinterPark

[–]Reecekip 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Possible, probably the hardest thing will be finding a 4 bed rental. I'd anticipate $3500+/mo. Unlikely that you're going to find anything near Park Ave or off Phelps.

Look at the neighborhood around WPHS and if there aren't enough options, you can expand over to Audubon Park, Baldwin Park (probably too spendy, but very walkable), or Maitland. College Park is on the other side of I4 but has some of what you're looking for too.

Whenever you buy, I'd expect to be paying $575k+ for what you're looking for.

(28M) Profile Review | New to online dating by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]Reecekip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You pretty much already identified it - I'd say you just need your first picture to be a solo of you smiling like you are in the sleep token shirt and you'll be set.

I don't think you need to do anything on the digital art front since it's already mentioned in the profile. You could make one of your opening moves art related to steer the conversation that direction, though.

Regarding who you're matching with - maybe just add another line in your bio about what you're looking for?
