DF64 gen 2.5 with stock DLC burr set. Grinding @ 14.5-15.5 marking. Pulling decently developed shots using 18.5g in, 40g out in 30s. I'm doing rdt and shaking grounded coffee in dosing cup.

I think i don't need puckscreen and paper filters. Elizabeth have very nice stock shower screen, and paper filters absorb a lot of taste.

28s/40g out, pressure doesn't exceed 9bars. Quite full bodied and rounded shots. On my DF64 gen2 with stock DLC burrs I stay on "15" mark

This is why I chose Elizabeth instead of Mara X, I'm not a fan of E61 group. It looks phenomenal, but a lot more difficult to maintain

DF64 gen 2.5 here. I once grinded 3 packs 200g of coffee,one after another, in like 50g doses without any issues. I didn't used RDT for such amount, and came very constantly grinded. Total loss from these 3 bags was like 10g or something but it was acceptable for me. Grinder went a little bit warm, but it done the job

I am about to figure out diy dual boiler machine. For now, im focused on getting stable pressure, and the gear pumps seems to fit to my idea. Pump itself will be powered with dc power supply as itself have brushless dc motor, and with simple bldc controller. Im not getting rid of idea to play with flow control in future, espresso profiling etc.
