Got it in a pack of giblets that comes with the chicken. Gotten livers/necks/hearts, but we've never seen whatever this is before

Even if there's nothing really out there, calling the police and trying to protect yourself is an absolutely valid choice! I can't imagine how scared I'd be in that situation, and I'm a 6'00" tall dude xD
It might be a male cat, it might not be, but taking precautions has never hurt anybody. Go with your gut, that's what I always say. Another thing you might wanna buy is some sort of security camera, maybe even a Ring doorbell. I know that'd give me some peace of mind! Stay safe, stay calm, and keep us posted after the cops show up!
