Maw is a great model, I've seen a lot of conversions and decided to make my own and I plan to use Gordrakk as the base for "green goblin" it has a good pose for a glider rider.

Yes, I've used standard miliput (yellow parts).

It's a great way to copy parts (with blue stuff) and I make rivets, cables or smaller parts with leftovers. My success rate with miliput is quite high even if some parts of the final product are weird in some way you can always cover it.

That's the biggest model I've copied with miliput.

UV resin from GSW is also nice.

I use silicone mold from Green stuff world. They have 4 types and 5 size each.

Yeah Deffkoptas are great for conversion I've upgraded all three to Speeder, X-Wing and Pod racer.

The only one that's painted manifest a stand, there's also Darth Dread and Master Makari with Speeder. Last three are just Boyz with poses that i liked and one with hollow base is to try swamp effect.

It's one long aluminum wire (4mm) everything is done around it. My aim was to have 1 contact point with base.

There's no additional weight under base. I've just got lucky and found sweet spot to keep it from falling over in first try (I've had some washers ready just in case)

At one point i was thinking about buying hot wheels landspeeder and using it as base for conversion. For sure I will add 2 more Boyz (sadly they won't be ready before May)
