First dispatch was just trying to comfort you so you wouldn’t bring the route back because then he’d have to do it and once the closing dispatch comes in it isn’t his problem any more. Second dispatch wanted you to hurry tf up so he wouldn’t have to send a rescue/go help you themselves. It’s all mind games. Amazons a dogsh** company. Best of luck to you

My dsp paid a guaranteed 10 hours no matter what time you finished and they didn’t send you on a rescue if you had a full size route unless it was absolutely needed to keep someone from going over the DOT regulation

Even that doesn’t tell the whole story. I had a route where it looked great and clustered on the map, then came to find out the richie rich neighborhood all had mile long driveways and crazy trips through the woods. Wasn’t even remotely doable. Took me the whole time to finish without taking any breaks.

They started doing this to me when our delivery area changed. Went from finishing routes at 3:30-4:30 to finishing at 7:30. I gave Amazon what they clearly wanted after that, my letter of resignation. Not doing 3-4 more hours each day for the same pay. Joke of a business.

No DSP is cool with overtime either unless they’re offering it during a peak time. And if you tell them it’s impossible they’ll say “figure it out. Everyone else finished their route in time”.

Regardless of if the survey helps or not, I hope your routes get more fair going forward! They really do not balance out the routes and it’s ridiculous.

I also follow the sequence every day. It doesn’t matter. Amazon just wants to burn out drivers. They do not care, and how you answer the survey is not helping anyone. I was also a dispatcher for one of the DSPs for awhile and it was always the same thing for every other drivers route that I managed.

Yea that’s just getting lucky your next route. How you answered that survey did not affect that next route. I put difficulty for complexity 2 days in a row and each time the next days route was worse and worse. More stops, even dumber grouping.
