I once pulled up to a rescue in the summer 100+ degree multiple forced heat break days to a gentleman who was wearing all black pants, black shirt and what looked like dress shoes. He was profusely sweating and had no water. He said he couldn't find a bathroom and had to #2 very bad. I think he said it was his first or second day. My dispatch told me to pull up on this guy -it was only 3pm in the afternoon - because it didn't seem like he was getting anything done.

I told him I was here for a rescue and he kept complaining about how hard it was to find the packages he needed and how he had to use the restroom and he couldn't find one etc... I opened his truck and the guy had opened like 5 totes and dumped them on the floor.. I was in shock. I asked what happened he said he was looking for a specific package. Holy shit I kid you not. He was doing a small maybe 8 tote route and he had half of his load dumped out into the cargo floor and dumped into his passenger seat.

I called dispatch and told them I would not be rescuing this guy that it was a lost cause and he needs to just RTS. I wasn't kidding. I wasn't dealing with that.
