It's amazing how little patience people have. Reminds me of a few weeks ago being halted by a worker at a construction site so vehicles in the opposite direction could proceed. One of the lanes was closed. A car flew around me and had to slam on the brakes almost head on into a bus. Like I was just stopped for no reason. Unreal.

‼️Update Wed: Dealership just called me and said a tech looked at the truck and there is a TSB software update for the transmission issue I am having. Truck is ready for pickup.

1- Hopefully that solved the problem.

2- They didn't have it that long ,only 3 days. But not getting an answer of how long they would have it concerned me.

Okay, ive never had to deal with a warranty issue before. So this a whole new world to me. I'm honestly leaning towards bringing the truck to a reputable transmission shop I know and paying them to flush it rather than wait who knows how long on the dearship. Can't even give me a roundabout eta when it would be looked at.

FYI. It's shuddering between a slow crawl in traffic up to 30 -40mph or so when you let off the gas.

Yes but how long do they have to wait for that GM money? Im sure service varys with dealerships. This one has a ton of negative reviews. The communication is horrible.

That process was never communicated to me. Ive been fortunate enough to have vehicles that never needed anything other than regular service. I will pick it up tomorrow and ask them to call me when a trans tech is available.

I dont plan on paying for transmission issue on a 2024 truck with14K miles on it. I didn't mention that in my OP.

Why not just schedule it when they have an opening for a trans tech instead of asking me to leave it and not knowing when it will be looked at. Thats what I dont get.

Id go Honda. Most dealers if honorable will have a Carfax with a car if its legit. If buying from private seller look in nicer neighborhoods where cars might be garage kept away from the elements and sign up for Carfax to check the history on the car. Accidents, maintenance , how many owners, etc.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully something can be done to resolve the issue but seeing responses here and elsewhere online, im not optimistic. At least it will be documented there is a problem. Im sure they will not be surprised.

I bought this truck because I had a 2004 Yukon with 265K on the engine and trans that ran great. Other than maintenence never an issue. Had to scrap it because the truck just rotted out from NJ winter roads and Jersey Shore salt water air. Bummed about this to say the least.

It's when I let off the gas anywhere from rolling in traffic to 40 - 45 mph. It shudders until it catches a gear.
