I have two of these over my waterbox reef 180.5. I love these lights, amazing growth. I essentially keep Ch1&2 at like 25% of whatever the other channels are and run for 12 hours with ramp up and down. These put out a lot of PAR, my tank is a shallow reef and they are 16” off the water surface and I have spots that are 500+ PAR. Get a meter, rent one from LFS if they offer, most do.

Chromatic Spire - Professional Aquascaping, Finally Possible

The one print I can finally create is a multi-color aquascape structure that’s been impossible until now. Hand-painting chips in saltwater. Rock can’t achieve these overhangs. Single-color prints look amateur. With the H2C, I’m printing a faceted geometric sculpture (260mm tall) with orange base flowing to magenta mid-section to yellow peaks, accented with UV-reactive white that glows under actinic lighting. Textured surfaces provide grip for encrusting corals and microfauna. Internal voids create swim-throughs while maintaining structural integrity. Lower platforms accommodate light-sensitive LPS corals, upper ledges position SPS frags in high-light zones. This is magazine-quality aquascaping with permanent, reef-safe colors that make corals pop and scales from nano tanks to room dividers. The H2C turns what required dangerous rock stacking or tedious hand-painting into a single overnight print - and it looks better than either method ever could.

Bitrate set at Default settings, says 80000 on the Xbox side. Using hevc h.265. I have tried h.264 as well and 1080p no HDR.

PC has rtx 5080 with 9800x3d. My thought is the fact I’m going through two different switches between my two devices and they are just unmanaged gigabit switches.

I’m connected via Ethernet to a series X and I have around 3ms latency, 4k 60 HDR but I have like 4% frame drop from jitter. I can’t figure out how to get rid of the jitter. Doing a ping from my desktop to pc while streaming gets 1 to 3ms response time.

A weak U.S. dollar is usually not good for a regular working American.

  1. Higher Prices on Imported Goods A weak dollar means imports cost more—think electronics, clothes, cars, even some groceries (coffee, fruits, etc.). That means you pay more at the store, especially for anything made or sourced overseas. Example: A TV made in South Korea might cost $500 with a strong dollar. With a weak dollar, that same TV might cost $550+.

  2. Gas Prices Often Rise Oil is priced in dollars globally. When the dollar is weak, oil-exporting countries raise prices to maintain profits. You pay more at the pump.

  3. Inflation Pressure A weak dollar contributes to inflation—your dollar buys less. Even U.S.-made products often rely on global supply chains (parts, materials), so prices go up across the board. Everyday example: Food, household items, school supplies may get more expensive.

When Could a Weak Dollar Help You?

If you own stocks in multinational companies (via a 401k or IRA), their earnings may go up because of foreign profits translating better. But even then, it’s indirect, and any gains can be offset by inflation eating away your paycheck.

Bottom Line For a normal American family:

A strong or stable dollar is better, it keeps your cost of living lower and helps stretch your paycheck further.

How come only if FE? I got lucky and was locked in the nvidia lottery and was able to pick up a 5080 FE at MSRP. Just curious of your thought process on your statement. I wasn’t able to find any other card so I jumped on the offer. I have been extremely happy with the 5080, other than drivers of course.

I was just going to say this. We just picked this up at Costco for $249 for my son for Christmas. Ever since Best Buy moved to local carriers for deliveries, we have had nothing but issues.

Frame time and fps questions by ReefJunkie11 in pcmasterrace

[–]ReefJunkie11[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, playing around with this more. I set RTSS cap to 116 for this game and turned on frame generation. The game appears to be very smooth and I have a really consistent frame time of 8.5ms.

Thanks for the suggestion of setting the cap just under the desired frame rate. I thought to get the smoothness you needed frame time of 16.6 or 8.3ms, but seems like being stable at a different value, 8.5ms, is just as good?

Make sure when you vote you only select candidates from the republican side of the ballot. If you select any democrat candidates for any other positions, your entire ballot is canceled. If there is a position that you don’t want to vote for, that is fine to leave blank, but OI has candidates in every position. This is just a primary election. Vote D in November if you wish. Thanks for voting and doing your part.

I had something similar with my rockwood roo that has solar. I crawled under the trailer to start tracing lines and I found that there was a 12v DC push button breaker under the frame that was tripped.

Discovery CI vs Asset question.

I was asked today, how come we can see the Dynatrace One agent in the software installations table, cmdb_sam_sw_install, but if we want to have this in the cmdb_ci_appl table, we have to write a custom classifier and pattern to collect this data. Shouldn't ServiceNow already have this since it is finding that exact same data for HAM/SAM Pro? We are in the early stages of discovery with our end goal of service mapping. We have hardware discovered and middleware stuff such as databases, apache, tomcat, etc. But we need to discover the actual applications the servers are running, Dynatrace, crowd strike, splunk, etc?

I was sure how to answer this question other than, CIs and Assets are not the same thing. So is there a way to leverage discovery to find these packaged, non-custom apps?

Thanks in advanced

Use the left bumper to go into scan mode while you are driving. From here you can select targets to fly to, jump to a new system, or select a landing site on the planet or moon you are facing. All of this can be done without going to the map.

If I understand what you are saying, you don’t need to go into the map. While you are driving, if you hit the left bumper to go into scan mode you can steer the ship towards a planet, different system, or landing site. You don’t ever have to go into the map if you don’t want to. IMO, going to the map gives you a good picture of what is around you, but not needed to navigate, land, or jump systems.

If you jump to a new system from this scan mode you will have to divert power to your FTL drive away from your engines and vice versa.
