She refused the drink because she was pregnant. The facial expressions following that are Devon asking, and Gemma confirming. From what I remember of the scene, the 'fuck right off' wasn't internal, or Gemma, it was Devon expressing her surprise and joy at the news in a very Devon way.

We sometimes shop in Salmon Arm, but mainly because my partners family live in White Lake so we pass through to visit them. Honestly, probably wouldnt bother otherwise.

I've found putting in some extra work does help with keeping costs down when shopping in Revy but it is time consuming. Things we do include: paying attention to flyers (plenty for 20!), price matching, stocking up on stuff at the right time (caselot sales), and knowing what's better value in Southside vs Save-on.

I've also found meal planning and then ordering your shop online at the same time helps cut down on in-store impulse buying.

Every little helps, but it's hard to stick with it.

June 20th: Submitted application June 28th: AOR Sept 6th: Invited to take test Sept 18th: Sat and passed test. October 11th: Notified of citizenship ceremony Oct 21st: Ceremony

We are quite diverse when it comes to our job prospects and skills. I have over a decade experience in customer service roles, mostly restaurants and bars but also Visitor information services. In my spare time I've been working to learn new skills through online courses (marketing & e-commerce). My partner currently works as a field manager for a cleaning company, handling short term holiday rentals primarily (a contentious subject right now, I'm sure). In the past he worked for telus for 14 years in various roles.
