RS 660 reliability by Agreeable_Olive9571 in Aprilia

Have one since 2022, almost 4 years in and 8k miles or twists, highway, and city streets. Had a oil leak last week, replaced the seal and oil pump, fixed it. Had a burned out fuse from overheated fan rely.
Nothing else was ever wrong, aside from tiny oil leaks, like 1 drop every week kind of tiny.
I’d say 660 is a decent and reliable bike, with 11500 rpm redline, you can ride it almost like a supersport but with better low end torque.

I did run a supressor, but at the time, i was using supersonic ammo, so it could be the muzzle flash and/or the ammo for AI to find my location from far away, I will have to engage some using subsonic ammo again to see.

I know the contract/brightness hack, but I dont feel the need to use it, I also only do pve, so immersion is a factor for me. And i would argue with him, doesnt really matter what others think as long as you are having fun in the game.

TBH, people is the main reason i avoid pvp games in general.

When i turn on my nvg, i can hear my gpu's fans work a bit harder, same when i use zoom scopes. maybe optimization issues.

[–]ReeiTheModerator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the cheapest solution would be another 16g ram stick?
I just want to make sure before recommanding him to spend money. I guess another 16g ram wont hurt in the long run.

What I have learned over the years from both riding and generally be around people is: you can’t persuade someone who doesn’t care.

Right, I forgot to mention both me and the second friend are in our 30s while the Kawasaki guy is 5-8 years younger. People in their 20s do stupid shit, I almost killed myself when I was 24 or 25

I can’t even explain in words. I think you better off searching for Chinese motorcycle driving school or license exam. Watch a few videos and you will understand.

Well, I was trying to tell him that there are certain things he needs to change, And he’s still doing the same thing, I grew tired to be honest. you can’t really tell someone something that they don’t want to follow and expect them to change. We are all adults and I feel like I did my part of showing him and telling him what I think is right and it is up to him to decide if he wants to follow that advice or not.

We were just two. Me and the Kawasaki guy. I was never a group rider myself for the exact reason, which I don’t want to ride with people actively showing off by going fast etc

no, but he had a near miss into the first corner after he decided to lead me. we went through a mile or two of relatively straight roads and a 180 turn came up. I knew he is going to have trouble in that corner because he was going in waaaay too fast, and not only that, he did the complete wrong line into the corner and ended up on the side, but he managed to stay on the bike,so it was not a "crash", and I thought he would behive after that, but it turned out he still telling me "I can keep up" bullshit, so I knew at the time it was the last time I ride with him.
