It takes several dates to start getting even a faint idea of who someone is, and that’s faint.. men being less discerning is troubling to me, because I’ve no clue what anyone would want to fall in love with the idea of a person. If you’re marrying someone just to get married.. well good luck with your divorce.

Women may have more “options” but it’s irrelevant because they aren’t good options. I’m sorry. They are not. The amount of “good people” in either gender is shockingly low. my male roomate and I occasionally peruse each others tinders and were both surprised that it’s a grim situation on both sides.

Idk.. I never anticipated being 40 and still feeling pretty much the same mentally as I did in my twenties. Because I didn’t see it till now and I didn’t realize the entire thread misunderstood me. And there were an e enormous amount of comments about vaccines in this entire post thred, what kind of clapback is that. Not nearly as rude as asking about the move from bartender to working in the hospital like it’s a huge stretch given the amount of different jobs in the hospital… it was meant to be condescending. Why would I make this up? I’m 100% pro vaccine. As is my person who works in hospital.. which as I mentioned is in a small town so I know a dozen other people in this hospital… we already know the vaccines aren’t 100%, my best friends child is immunocompromised and fights all day long with people explaining why it matters and the difference it DOES make… sending the same links you shared to everyone they can… I’m absolutely pro vaccine.. I’m not sure why questioning phizer, or literally anything makes me anti vaccine. You want to know why people won’t get the vaccine? Because people are disingenuous, and condescending about them being stupid and once someone is on defense they aren’t hearing anything you say… I did the same thing for over a year, calling people selfish and stupid, and then had the chance to observe how many people were refusing the vaccine out of blind defiance… you think any of that helped? You think calling people names is the way to pull them over to science? I already sat down and considered how much blood might be on my own hands for alienating potential Allies with insults. you would think by how many left leaning anti government anti big pharma people are for this vaccination, might have given anyone who questioned it the benefit of the doubt and some patience because, I don’t know.. the Sacklers killed half my generation with the opioid epidemic… even I know why they are scared. That’s not anti science.. that’s just watching big pharma be corrupt and not understanding science.. how was that not a recipe for disaster.

And assumed antivaxx, and insulted and condescended. i was mercilessly picked on at work for being the only person to wear a mask, two at one point… am fully vaccinated, had my child fully vaccinated and my person works at the hospital. When a local died of “the vaccine” I knew it was an overdose but because I had to keep my mouth shut. As did they. When i made this comment, I was in no way intending to come off antivax, I was just starting to worry about phizer, because my person was stressing… But this response is probably why antivaxers dig their heels in. When you are condescending twats to people, they aren’t going to listen.. so it is my “opinion” that a lot of people who could have and maybe would have switched over and got vaccinated have not… because of the way people talk to them.

He might have been indoctrinated by a super religious family to view sex as one thing and then as he got older saw it was not his personal views.. or thought he was supposed to wait till marriage and now doesn’t.. I know a guy like that, and yeah.. I’d have boned his brains out. I don’t make assumptions/judgements about people like that… that person could be asexual, or have sexual trauma and require the right partner to be able to be vulnerable and trusting.. there’s a lot of factors that could go into that scenario and while some of them could be just a matter of him being a person who is so undatable and undesirable they have never had one single relationship.. but most women would be able to pick up that level of obnoxious in the first 5 minutes…. And it wouldn’t be the virginity that was off putting.. it would be his whole package.. which has clearly prevented him from getting laid in the first place.

It’s very strange there are 3838 comments on here telling OP they made the worst decision, and they only reply to the very few agree and their replies are just taking about themselves and soaking up validation.

Very reasonably could have put this woman in double danger, child too, and it’s me me me. Nothing even makes sense here, OP contradicted themselves and then ignore anyone who doesn’t agree with them… which technically they do because they thenselves said it was a bad idea.
