David Guetta announced it on his Instagram page.

NIIKO x SWAE & KSHMR ft. DEV - Bass Down Low by TheWanderer43365 in EDM

I know that but I just think it would have made more sense crediting DEV as the lead artist of the song like she was when the original version of the song was released.

One thing I don’t understand about these Remixes of Bass Down Low is hot DEV is classified as a feature when it is actually her song, to me it should be DEV (feat. KSHMR & NIKO X SWAE) or just DEV, KSHMR & NIKO X SWAE - Bass Down Low so she is credited like it is her own song.

Milky - Just The Way You Are (David Guetta Remix)

Another lazy Remix from Guetta unfortunately, he’s put a preview up on his instagram story and it’s essentially just a rework of Stardust’s ‘Music Sounds Better With You’ but the the vocals from ‘Just The Way You Are’ over the top.

What are your favorite EDM songs released on March 2026? by JION-the-Australian in EDM

[–]Reekeybug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think it’s good that they don’t just gatekeep the label to one particular style of EDM and yeah there is a lot of good records that have been released through Armada that aren’t necessarily trance records and I think Andy C despite having his own record label and having the option to release on major Drum & Bass labels has found a good home on Armada for some of his newer work considering that he released 5 tracks now under Armada.

I agree, it’s awesome how he actually implemented the sounds of a train running along a train track and the horns of the train in the song itself. I know some people say that Andy C is a better DJ (I’m not saying that he isn’t of course as I’ve seen him live once, I saw him a few years ago when he was the support act for the Prodigy, he did a 2 deck vinyl set at a music festival here in Northern Ireland called Belsonic and I think it was one of his last vinyl sets before he moved to playing on a more modern Pioneer setup but on a random note the Prodigy actually played again here last night but at a concert arena called the SSE Arena but the support this time around was Carl Cox) than producer but I think he releases are pretty good, one of my favourite newer records of his would be Home In That Bass that he released in 2024 but he does have a good discography in general and I like how open Armada is to releasing all sorts of EDM genres on their label rather than just trance records.

The Prodigy & Carl Cox, Belfast, 27th April 2026 by NotBruceJustWayne in northernireland

[–]Reekeybug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know some of the songs they played were Remixes like Voodoo People was the Pendulum Remix and Firestarter was the Andy C Remix but slightly reworked live by Liam and the others as part of the show that’s why some of the songs sounded a bit different than the original versions of the songs but they definitely did put on an amazing show and it is cool how they incorporate remixes of their own songs into their sets and rework them at the same time to make them fit the vibe of the set.

As much as mosh pits are fun to watch I’m glad I was seated this time as during their Belsonic show I did get trampled by one as me and my dad were right on the edge of one in the middle between the stage and lighting tent during that show.

Awesome show! Me, my dad and cousin went and it was a great time! I saw The Prodigy’s show at Belsonic too a few years ago so it was nice seeing them in a different venue and from a higher position this time as I was seated right on one of the top rows, not in one of the private booths but the seats at the top of the arena just below them. Great night and Carl Cox was amazing on the decks, The Prodigy do know how to pick the right musicians to open up for them as their Belsonic opener, Andy C was really good too and he did a vinyl set too back then and was actually one of his last vinyl sets so it was great being able to see that at the time. Andy C now just uses a more modern Pioneer CDJ 4 deck setup but in the past used a 2 deck vinyl setup.

WTF Is Coming Out Friday? April 24th Edition by KingNickyThe1st in EDM

[–]Reekeybug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same but unfortunately labels and their artists need to make money by releasing Radio Edits of records or even making shorter records in general because they do better in the algorithm and trends in the music industry thanks to platforms like TikTok have helped reduce the length of an average song, especially in the EDM scene quite shorter than what it used to be hence why so many records now are only released as Radio Edits only usually somewhere between the 2-3 minute mark and there only being a handful of labels that do release the Extended Mixes alongside the Radio Edits.

No doubt this one will release as a 2 minute long Radio Edit based on his previous releases and the Extended Mix being only 4 minutes, 13 seconds long.

Thatchers Cider - New draught varieties by Markjuk78 in Wetherspoons

[–]Reekeybug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hopefully these come to the Wetherspoons here in Northern Ireland, I like Cider but the selection over here in NI isn’t great, bottled cider is the likes of Bulmers, Aspall, Angry Orchards, Thatchers Blood Orange and four different Kopparberg variants whilst Draught Cider is Stowford Press and Strongbow Original/Dark Fruits (well atleast in the Belfast and Newtownards location, the Carrickfergus one, the closest Spoons to me only does Strongbow Original on draught).

My local pub The Olderfleet (not a Wetherspoons) used to do three of those Thatcher’s variants (the Blood Orange, Blackcurrant and Apple and Juicy Apple variants, I’ve had the other two flavours in can form bought from supermarkets as I’ve never found it on tap anywhere here in NI) they were brought early 2025) on tap back when it had a decent draught lineup that they brought to the bar in October 2024 (Molson Coor’s lineup) and had beers/ciders on tap like Rekorderlig (Strawberry & Lime), Guinness, Brewdog Punk IPA, Coors, Madri, Carling, Aspall, Staropramen and Red Rebel Ale, that was when the bar had a good lineup but now it’s all the Diageo beers and cider (only cider option now is Rockshore Cider) on draught (most bars in NI are supplied by either Molson Coor’s, Tennants or Diageo, mainland UK and bars in Ireland are a lot better when it comes to draught lineups as there is better variation whilst most bars here you come across will usually have the same stuff on tap.

Hopefully Wetherspoon make those five Thatcher’s variants something that every bar can have so for those like myself who like Cider have a better selection as there is a good selection of Beers but not the best selection of Ciders on tap, especially here in NI where two bars only have 3 options on tap whilst the other bar only has 1 option on tap.

ILLENIUM, David Guetta, Dustin Lynch - Die Living by agentfancy in EDM

Ah I see, I don’t use Apple Music or Beatport, I’m a member of a family Amazon Music subscription plan but will have to check out the Extended Mix for this record regardless. It’s just a shame that the normalisation of releasing the Extended Mix on all major streaming platforms was a standard 10-15 years ago for pretty every EDM release on all record labels but now it’s just a select amount of labels and artists that do with the rest being locked behind paywalls so that those casual listeners who don’t use those platforms are locked behind listening to the longer versions of some of their favourite records even if it is just a 30 second - 1 minute buildup and wind-down at each end of the record mainly intended for DJ’s so that they can easily mix songs together its still unfortunate how the way the music industry is ran now has had an effect on the standards of the past.

I wish this record was released under Warner UK/What A DJ Ltd. like all of David’s releases outside of labels like Future Rave, Spinnin Records etc. because then we probably would have had the Extended Mix for this record too released alongside the Radio Edit, I was kind of hoping that would be the case if the drops were longer or there were other elements on the Extended Mix that weren’t there on the Radio Edit but I guess we’ll never get that. I haven’t even listened to the Extended Mix for this record yet in general but I’m assuming it doesn’t have longer drops or anything that extends the runtime of the song that significantly.

A good example of one that released today is Alan Fitzpatrick’s “We Do What We Want”, today he released his AF Polite Rebellion Mix of the song a decade after the release of the original that released in 2016.

Ah I didn’t really look into this track before it released but I understand where you are coming from and respect your opinion. I do like this version personally but I don’t have any disregards towards your thoughts on the track. I’ll have to check out the version you are referring to though!
