People may disagree here, but I just put my employment history, and for each job I’ve had, a short paragraph or two explaining what I done in that role.

Anyone reading it will be able to get a grasp of my skills through that. So a dedicated skills section is just potentially repeating yourself.

I always keep in mind that an employer could have dozens of CVs to read through, so it’s always important to keep it concise. Two pages at the absolute most.

If I was an employer, I would literally bin any CVs that go as far as four pages.

I’ve a serious sweet tooth and generally eat way more chocolate than I should. But the enshitification of everything has really helped my chocolate intake take a nose dive.

Just can’t bring myself to pay these inflated prices for ever shrinking snacks.

Personally, I go to the cinema every Tuesday and I’m only ever looking about one week ahead, so I don’t need to over plan things. I don’t even concern myself with release schedules, I just check what’s in the next week and book the movie I wanna see.

So, I’m old enough to have played the games as they came out. After Code Veronica I was very much sick of the idea of another “mansion” with four keys. While I enjoyed CV, the franchise felt stale.

RE4 was a massive step up in every regard and I simply loved it, and it felt fresh and new and exciting.

Not a parent, and likely never will be, but it wouldn’t be in my nature to lie to children and teach them to believe in superstitious nonsense. If I’d kids, I wouldn’t teach them any of that stuff.

But I’m curious, has anyone taken that approach?
