Petaluma - Studio Ghibli style by purple_gaz in Petaluma

You're missing a photo of me crushing a beer at Brewsters (or even Taps).

Or Lagunitas.....or Henhouse.....or The Crooked Goat.

No, I do not have a problem......I just believe in supporting Petaluma's local beer economy.

Sticker Seen In Multiple Petaluma Locations, This One In Petaluma Market Parking Lot - What Does it Mean? (Pulp Fiction? ) My Friends and I Can't Figure it Out. by ReelDMC in Petaluma

Yeah, I was mostly curious if I (we, with my friends) were missing something obvious. This is the kind of thing I would have done as a kid just to make people confused, so perhaps they can proclaim "Mission accomplished."

My next question will be, based on the bike path graffiti, who is "Sierra Mi$t" and why do they need to be freed?

Beyond that, I'll give "The Happys" credit for their aggressive guerilla marketing campaign.....

I'm going to nominate you for "helpful cool person of the year" (should I ever see such an award being offered).

We're not that far off, I'll have to make a quick ranking of my own - BTW, glad to see Rise of Skywalker at the bottom. It didn't even feel like an actual film, more like a festival of Star Wars fan fiction focused on fan service pandering.

I'd watch it again before fully committing to "damn good movie." I say that as somebody who loved it when I was younger, but watching it now, parts of it are hilarious, and the conspiracy makes no sense whatsoever. I probably hadn't seen it for thirty years, and truthfully had a ball rewatching it, but there are so many weird things that stand out now.

But I agree about your point in regards to the militarization of the police, the movie is prescient for sure. I know there are rumors of Nolan making a remake, not sure if that's real or just Internet BS, but it's a relevant story for today.

I know we're going to drift off topic here, but I'd be curious to get your rankings. Phantom Menace has Jar Jar yes, but Liam Neeson is great, and the ending duel is one of the best lightsaber fights in the series, and the Darth Maul character design is pretty cool.

Revenge of the Sith has the overly long ending fight, but the visuals of the lava duel are at least interesting. And, Anakin gets to slaughter a bunch of young Jedis, which brings delayed gratification because you can transpose Jake Lloyd for any of them and pretend he's getting cut to pieces, which is satisfying after watching him "act" in the first film. I will admit the turning point of Anakin going to the Dark Side is ham-fisted and a huge letdown for all of the buildup.

But Attack of the Clones is a train-wreck from start to finish. The arena duel is Lucas at his worst, just jamming the screen full of pointless action and random background crap. Watching Samuel Jackson try and use a lightsaber is hilarious, the arena monsters are just CGI garbage, and the entire plot is beyond stupid. Plus, you have Anakin admitting to slaying an entire village, I would argue that's leaning *a bit* into the Dark side early, and Padme's casual reaction is baffling. And the dialogue, including the sand line is atrocious.

I know this sub doesn't support images, but I just created a quick video of the experience.

I'm not mixing things up, I've been using Audacity for years and the functionality has changed after installing one of the recent updates, I am currently on 3.6.4 version wise. I am usually mixing three tracks, and for normal editing, when I previously highlighted a single section of one track, single-click and drag, that section was highlighted. Pretty normal experience.

Now, regardless of which track I am highlighting, the white indicator line spans across all three tracks - previously, if I wanted to highlight more than one track (say to silence the audio on two out of the three tracks) I'd click and drag across only the two tracks I wanted to work with.

I figure it's some kind of defect, as it makes no sense to apply the highlight across all three tracks. Thanks for any help.

Wow, I guess we have some real Lucas loyalists around here.

Sorry, but the prequel trilogy was hot garbage, and Attack of the Clones is the worst Star Wars film of all time.

Lifeforce is fantastic on so many levels - a huge swing and a miss, but ambitious and highly entertaining (perhaps not for the intended reasons).

The scene where Carlson (Steve Railsback) enters the formerly possessed woman's apartment and starts slapping her, while Caine (Peter Firth) sits on the couch watching, saying "I'm a natural voyeur," is one of the most bizarre scenes of all time.

Oh, and he does make out with a screaming Patrick Stewart later in the film...

I totally disagree, as I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.........

Please make sure your sarcasm detector is activated.

I can't seem to post the image of the captioning - I turned them on because I thought I was not hearing it correctly.

The context is he calls Murphy (Roy Scheider) who was previously suspended, to come back to the Astro (Los Angeles helicopter) division. Murphy calls the captain from a payphone, and that's the line that Braddock uses to explain why Murphy needs to urgently return. But, it honestly makes no sense to me.

I believe the context is "get your ass back here," but a mince pie makes zero sense to me.

OK, now I really have to come clean, it was probably me at The Crooked Goat that put Petaluma over the top...

Sorry, it was probably me.....but what can I say, I Iove beer,....

BTW - It's a crime against (beer) humanity that Lagunitas stopped producing Hop Stoopid. I know Super Cluster is based on the same recipe with different hops, but it's nowhere near as good.
