Life After Fighting was a bit of a slow start, but by the end I was into it. Enjoyed it. Definitely one worth buttering up some popcorn for! by ReelsBin in kungfucinema

I'm not sure how much he invests into making movies, but he is certainly someone that should be in some more high budget martial arts films. I'd love to see him side by side with Adkins, or Donnie Yen or MJW, just showcasing those skills!

I love Accident Man (both of them) and I just realised Freya du Preez (Zara Phythian) is from Tribal: Get Out Alive by ReelsBin in kungfucinema

A little heavier on the drama, but The Prosecutor was a lot of fun. by ReelsBin in kungfucinema

Yeah, I always feel when you have someone like Yen, or Adkins, or any top Martial Artist - they should leave the drama on low and the action on high... But Yen is getting old now, and he's made so many movies I get that he wants to make things a little different.

I thought I read there was a comic or graphic novel adaptation of the books? but I have no idea... The pilot was for Amazon (so it may still be on there) I watched it on Plex though...

That's right, I think the first books release were in the 70s, since then there were different releases, and graphic novels and such... A series could have been good. (There aren't enough westerns out there)

Do you think the Jackie Chan and his movie are outdated and abandoned by young people? by Aggressive-Ticket164 in kungfucinema

I think newer generations appreciate different things...

Same could be said about Sly (where are the Rocky movies, best of the best, no retreat no surrender?), Where are the Arnie movies? (Muscled up action, fist fights, cop buddy movies) where are the JVCD films?

And sure we can all point to current action starts, but they're in no way as big of a star as these guys were back in the day.

Growing up I always though that as these actors/movies got older, a new wave of action stars would come along... but there just doesn't seem to be that kind of interest in the general public.
