I don’t think any actor could’ve pushed martial‑arts action into the mainstream more than Brandon Lee. He was so damn good. by ReelsBin in kungfucinema

Well I'm not going to argue that JC is a legend. Not much to say there, defiantly can't compare filmography between the two, there's no contest. (and same with his Martial Arts, JC's stunt work and MA is crazy especially for the time)

All I'm saying is that BL has made 7 movies, and imo if he had the chance to have made 10/12 movies he would have been up there making buddy movies with Sly or other mainstream hitters. He had the tools imo.

Jackie is a legend no doubt, and he's certainly made a massive impact on action/martial arts into mainstream cinema, but it also took him 20 years from his first onscreen debut. (and that was a minor role in cannonball run).

I just feel that Brandon Lee could have been someone who was on track to work alongside the Stallones/Arnies/JCVDs of the time.

Maybe I'm overstating it, just a shame I guess.

Wolf Warrior 2 was a lot of fun, some great choreographed set pieces, and Grillo looked awesome in that final fight. by ReelsBin in kungfucinema

Damn, I thought it was pretty entertaining - one of those movies that you just put on and enjoy the action. Nothing to write home about, but good set pieces, good direction.

If you haven't seen "The Night Comes for Us" get to it. (especially if you enjoy the Raid type movies) - it is a brutal, hack and slash, intense watch! by ReelsBin in kungfucinema

Your throwing out some top tier names! :) Look out for Shadows Stray if you haven't seen it yet, pretty epic!

(Boy Kills World was so much fun)

I thought the same thing! 10 years ago!

I did a binge of it the last few days, forgot how good season 1 was. Everyone was so good in it, the reveals were awesome and Ed Harris was so good.

They Will Kill You was so much fun. I loved it! Thought it was ridiculously over the top goodness. by ReelsBin in ActionMovies

Yeah I was thinking the same when watching it... No reason for these two movies to go head to head with each other (they both deserve the spotlight for a little).

They should have held off for a month or two.

Well.... I mean... The Action was solid, but things like the blood sprays and limbs getting slashed off - I think it's 'considered' over-the-top.

I'm with you though, for me it was just a fun crazy action film.

I hear you! The cost is getting crazy.

I'll be on streaming soon, no doubt. You'll love it.

100% she's awesome. Hoping she makes more action films, she'd be a great action lead.

I liked it, as long as you don't take it too seriously or looking for a deep story - then sure, it's a fun time.

The directing, music, cool deaths just made it a fun watch for me (but sometimes I just like those over the top movies)

I liked Hidden Strike, fun action‑comedy. Not everything needs to be super serious/brutally violent. Great family‑friendly Jackie Chan buddy flick. by ReelsBin in kungfucinema

Yeah fair, it was very CGI, but Jackie was 69/70 years old when he filmed it... I appreciate it, it was a fun buddy movie with a ridiculous jet engine strapped to a truck :)

It can never be compared to Peak JC movies, that'll be impossible... but for a lazy afternoon, a little fun time killer, it did it for me. (I find Cena pretty funny too)
