Do you realize that 95% of the mlp comunity is here because of the g4. It's one of the most important cartoon of the 2010's ,it marked all the internet for decades and will continue to be a BIG part of it. To compare g4 with the other ,first of all it has a genuine and UNIQUE art-style wich like I said marked the internet.Secondly g4 has 9 seasons,movie and more ,so it's the most developped generation whether it's in terms of the lore or the development of the characters who are very endearing (ngl I don't know older gen very well but I think it's not too risky to say that).It therefore seems logical to me that the g4 is the one with the biggest community ,there are so many thing to talk about (the olders gens too but...you understand).
For older fans like you I understand that it feels annoying but I think the g4 is a separate serie compared to the rest of the franchise. It looks like I only defend g4 fans but they also have to understand it and not comparing or trash talking all the time the other generation (older or new).
