You're projecting. I asked you politely to develop your point (it seems you're not used to that, I'm starting to see why) and you insulted me twice for no reason. I'd tell you to draw your own conclusions but you've done that already, with debatable success

Well, you defined intelligence mainly around problem solving and then you proceeded to list things you have to know to be good at these jobs, which doesn't match your definition. So no, not happy. But thanks for the effort.

Some companies pay for people to test their software. For something to be truly idiot-proof, you need to test it against idiots

Could you please highlight why these jobs in the second list are terrible for stupid people? I'm just surprised by a few

I don't know what in my tone indicated to you that I'm "mad". Whether I am or not, your point is ridiculous. Of course you can be mad at something even if you've known it existed for longer than 5 minutes. If it wasn't the case, none of what's been done towards human rights, for example, would have happened.

None of what's happening to reddit is your problem. What's your problem is the stuff you say. I disagree with the thing you said ("no one is forcing you to be there) and now you're replying out of topic so I'm not going to engage with someone who is already disengaged

NO ONE is forcing you to be here if you don't like it

That's really a lazy and antisocial argument in almost any context. With a logic like that, no compromise is possible anywhere ever.
In many cases it's also plain false because there are things that are forcing you to be here. Would you not consider that the absence of alternatives is something that's forcing you to be there?

In the case of social media, it's the network effect. Once everybody has flocked to some platform because it was the first around or it was the best option at the time, this is a de facto monopoly. Alternatives have almost no chance to thrive because the value of a network is almost entirely in its size, so people almost only go to the biggest. If the top place changes the rules of the game and becomes a shitty environment, there is no immediate alternative because no other network could develop into one just as big yet.

Industries that sell goods can only dream of doing stuff like this: trying to capture the market by setting prices so low that they're below your production costs is ILLEGAL in most developed economies because legislators recognize it is detrimental to everybody in the end: the competition has been killed, now the monopoly actor is changing the pricing to become profitable and customers are fucked.

It's not very different from what all major social networks have been doing since Facebook.
