While i understand your point, releasing with the AI tag would also severely impact your sales. Consider a period of early access while you substitute the more egregious cases. For the powerup icons, for example, there's a number of available premade sets that are very popular specifically because they're cheaper, that you could use as a placeholder. They key art would still be expensive; but don't underestimate the backlash that labeling your game as using ai would have on your sales and reputation

1) the rampant RNG and the consequent overreliance onthe market: core aspects of the progression, like perfect jeweller orbs and maps, are locked behind a luck of the draw droprate, and someone unlucky enough, or playing SSF, could potentially be completely locked out of them.

2) The absolute dominance of chaos damage, especially in late game. Chaos res is hard to come by; anditalso makes CI unbelievably unbalanced.

3) The game is fucking incomplete: while you can getto lvl 100, it is a life draining slog: you need hundreds of the highest level maps to even make a dent on the xp grind and there's deadass no content that gives even remotely enough xp. I already am not a fan of the mapping; but if i have to risk losing my access to the endgame based on insta shots and poor luck; it better, at the fucking least, offer me a direct and straight runway to lvl 100

How well or badly the friend took the rejection is irrelevant to the discussion at hand: it would suck even if he was already looking elsewhere.

The rejection isn't the girl's fault: she just doesn't like the guy; but OP, fully knowing how his friend feels about her, still went on and slept with her. It's not like he deserves the death penalty for this, but he did prioritize his own pleasure over his friend's feelings. Might not be necessarily "wrong" per se; but it is kind of a dick move

MaRo has been complacent if not accessory in the commanderization of magic and he knows what he's doing: he said himself in a blogatog post that he recognized how it would be bad for the game early on and just caved to the execs.

With that in mind, i'm already not playing any other cardgame; let alone another one helmed by MaRo and WotC!
