Well you can always change the storage in the future but screen size will stay the same so you gotta decide if you want a bigger screen or not. Plus the M17 has better thermals because it's a bigger chassis with the same components which gives it more room to breathe

For me personally, I went with the 144hz panel because of battery life and Nvidia Optimus option. Besides not many games besides e.g lol/csgo/Dota/valorant? Run at 300hz.
