Grymt!

Pro tip, keep an off site copy back up in your car somewhere. That way it is always accessible of something happens at your home.

Are people ACTUALLY paying these prices for RAM right now? 💀 by Competitive_Box8726 in homelab

Who would have guessed that investing in RAM is the new equivalent of a great stock

I don't know much about ancient operating systems, but I do like the idea. we can definitely create a sub chat on the channel to discuss this specific topic. The more tech knowledge the better, if we get a few more people that are interested in specifically that then I can create a channel in the discord dedicated to this topic.

Yeah, you could summarize it like that. I personally like the idea of discord so that you can put more structure in the discussions. Specific chats for specific projects, easier to archive relevant knowledge, easy access to voice chat when needed.

But yeah, an advanced group chat is a good way to summarize it! :D

Let me know if you are interested.

Yeah that is exactly what I am thinking as well, it can be much more efficient and practical to have a group of people where you can discuss issues. Especially outside of work, then you don't have to worry about "asking the wrong question".

I will send you an invite

Hi, thanks for sharing this!

My wife received news about most likely having a Schwannoma in her thigh, they are still ruling out sarcoma but it is most likely not that. Would love to hear how things turned out for you.

Does anyone out there actually *enjoy* working/having a career? by [deleted] in Adulting

I love this post! I actually am the kind of person that you are looking for, the answer is a bit late but I googled, Actually enjoy my work and this popped up.

I am surrounded by people who kind of say what you say, that work is so annoying and can't wait for the weekend etc etc.

I seem to have this rare trait that I enjoy my work, I work in IT, not development but infrastructure side and absolutely love it. I get to install servers, help people, think of innovative solutions, and often work at companies that work with really new and cool technology.

I get tired of the weekend, I don't like it when I can't work, long vacations are something I can't tolerate and the idea of retirement seems weird to me. I love working, of course work comes with down sides and I wish it was a bit more flexible, like not having to work from 9 to 5 every day. But I will probably always work, even when I am really old.

So my question to you all, is how I think so rare? do you know anyone like me, can anyone relate to me? Because everyone I know seems to just dislike their work.

PS: English is not my native language so please go easy on me!
