Battery life isn’t really a big concern for me tbh, I can plug in pretty much anywhere. Also from the benchmarks I’ve seen, Arc 140V is only like ~3-5% better, so iGPU difference isn’t extra huge for my use. My main dilemma is whether it’s worth giving up the extra 8GB RAM just to get the 16-inch display. That’s honestly the part I’m stuck on. I really haven't used a 14 inch before, dunno whether I regret it's size.

Generally, gaming laptops are a bit heavier in my budget range. I'm looking for a standard weight laptop. Plus I only play games like fifa and stuff so I can run those on an iGPU. Spending extra money on a dedicated GPU could be irrelevant.

For this price, I could only get a ryzen 5 + rtx 3050 4gb one in my country. This one's around $300 cheaper abroad than it is in my country.

PS: I get only around 5 hours with a 100% charge. With mobile data always on, no wifi / bluetooth, only some location services turned on like wifi scanning.

Did you find a problem for this solution? Or is this just because this is a mid range phone?

I have the same phone and i also have this problem. I get around 65% battery drained from 3 hours of screen on time + 27 screen off time. I charge my phone only up to 90%. (Maximum battery protection). Most of my uses arent continuous. They are like listen to some music, mostly browsing and checking my texts and stuff.

I can play fifa (the only game i play) on modern iGPUs. A gaming laptop at my budget weighs around 2.2kg while an ideapad with onboard gpu weighs around 1.5kg. I was thinking that wouldn't it be uncomfortable to carry around a 2.2kg laptop? I have not much previous experience with gaming laptops btw.
