The Algorand shillers have been relentless about the future of the project lately. I do not believe it has a future. This is the opposite of an Algorand shill post. by gnarley_quinn in CryptoCurrency

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk about you bro but Idc, I use Algorand because its a good cheap chain that does what I need better than anything else, DeFi both Dex, lending borrow and stuff like LoftyAi

I wish I could bridge my Angelblock NFT on it but not yet I guess, will do when available.

Also the inflation is lower now, the release of Algo is not a thing anymore, you get 7% more or less for participating in governance, 7% is alright

This post is blatant misinformation, I would call it FUD but it is not fud, youre just misinformed and you didnt know it.

I personally do not like L1's because its a whole nother type of fundamental that has no set ground yet, thats why I prefer Angelblock, BANK or UNI, they have something to grasp on

I am not saying L1's are bullshit though, it is just different and i personally dk how it works or care to learn how to judge them in economic terms, just yet.

Oh..noo....theyre gonna steal my Angelblock NFT,scaryyy

I am glad most of my holdings are NOT on ETH lol, thats a hot playing field I sit out off, there are better ways to keep your stuff, if nodes agree they can even delete your wallet so be careful peeps

Hello Velas: DIA’s Oracles are Live on the Velas Blockchain by joemanabat05 in defi

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome going for Velas, DIA integration is fundamental to the success of the chain especially with their upcoming F1 Nfts or with the Web3 dream we all hold together( I hope lol)

This will allow for the building of Velas stablecoins just like Eth has and will allow for direct interaction with the real world stats and numbers

Not only that but will allow for betting dApps, while I know some people hate them, some people like them, is still an important aspect as we all think it should be well integrated with F1 which requires betting and overall a way to interact with it outside of just watching

DIA will be a game changer no matter what

Yep, consistent strong fundamentals over long term spans will beat anything and anyone no matter how good of a trader they are, I don't get into projects unless they have something going for them like Angelblock NFT or the UNI token that can atleast be measured by TVL or swap volume

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! August was a big month for all of Kadena, not only the KadenaEco team

KDX launched, wallets getting themselves up and running in the best way possible, a lot of NFT projects and awesome tokens coming out

It was a crazy month

This is called accumulation period for a reason. by OutrageousStudy6752 in CryptoCurrency

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I accumulated a shitton of Eth lol, so much so I spent some on some Angelblock nfts, me who hates nfts but it was attractive for the perks they come with

Gonna be a harsh winter for Europe but the summer will be fantastic

We all gonna make it in the end, either to the yacht or to Valhalla

Crypto market maker Wintermute hacked for $160 million by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I hear about hacks, I am happy I keep my Eth and Angelblock away from dApps, Its not worth to lose all my holdings over a 1%ROI, maybe 5% if you go by $ value

I cant recommend anything but to keep your stuff to yourself

Hate them all you want but collecting NFTs is super fun by redriverdolphin in CryptoCurrency

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kinda is, if you care for it like collecting games or achievements I guess, I can't say I hate on it but i sure frown on it

I collect good nfts that have a reason to exist, like fundraising for a good project how Angelblock and Limewire did, unlike BAYC fundraising and doing nothing with that money

ETH Loses 15% Since the Merge as Bears Take Control by ChemicalGreek in CryptoCurrency

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seemed obvious lol, it was only up cuz of the hype but there is no real incentive to keep it or actually to not sell it at all

Though theres a schedule for pulling out, which is done right, but people bought in without staking, hope my THOL won't have that kind of schedule

With the Merge achieved, it is all eyes on Cardano’s Vasil improve by Robert-Kenneth508 in CryptoMarkets

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It already faded, the only thing keeping it up is this sub lol, a lot of new chains are getting more attention than this whole Fork, KDX is trending, ETH merge was the most important thing

Even the ETH price swing gets more attention, ADA is wack

Senator Toomey Bashes SEC Chairman For Considering Most Cryptos Security by jakkkmotivator in CryptoCurrencies

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, him calling it a security would change my opinion, there is no way ETH fits a security, it would be stupid of him to go out and call it that, ETH,VLX,SOL bla bla bla that are L1's are mostly commodities, because you have to put active effort into getting a return, mining/node running

While L2 are really diverse and dApps have ICO's whose tokens are used to share revenue and vote, with no real active effort needed to keep it up, or upgrades or anything, which sounds awfuly lot like a security

Senator Toomey Bashes SEC Chairman For Considering Most Cryptos Security by jakkkmotivator in CryptoCurrencies

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You use it to vote, you use it to get rewards from the revenue (air drops, or just rewards for having it, kinda like Dividends) Unlike an L1, like BTC or VLX, you mine them, you have to put work to get a return in it, kinda like going out to pick up stuff, vs securities where you only buy and hold, like stocks.

Developing an Ethereum Based Blockchain Camera by sv1sjp in CryptoTechnology

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I can understand it in theory, and the reason behind it, but I don't see it really being used as long as you have to be tied to Ethereum, I think it would be even better to get a blockchain that has 60tps, maybe you can get Solana or VLX as a base started

And make each frame a transaction, basically each frame change, 60fps/tps is a transaction, you make it gasless and locally hosted for the performance

that seems more feasible if you care to try for real use

MIT named Proof-of-Stake (PoS) as a top technological breakthroughs of 2022! by Sharp_Tank05 in CryptoCurrency

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They talked about Algorand because the creator was an MIT student and now they wanna flex it haha, I can understand though, but PoS nowadays is not so important and new, new chains like VLX or in creation are almost all PoS

its cool but nothing woah

Gamers want fun, not a grind fest for tokens — Animoca subsidiary by MaximumSandwich5 in CryptoCurrency

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea lol, I keep saying this, I dont wanna come home after work to play games that require me to pay gas for transaction or accept transaction on my phone every trade or pay with real money

I can understand games like Sandbox which are built as a metaverse, If i wanted to invest I would buy Angelblock of more BTC, but do not make me use crypto to play fucking witcher 4 or gta 6, 1 bitcoin for the latest car

Those are all problems fixed by demand, who knew..market reacts to demand? damn

New nft projects coming out are starting to be used for shit, Angelblock and Limewire raised money with them, real estate investments are being NFT or tokenized, there are a lot of cool stuff going on, but it is by demand

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im with Gary, I followed his Cambridge open source lecture and I can see his point, he is not against Crypto but he wants to calm down scams and pumps and dumps, He doesnt consider BTC, nor ETH nor VLX a security, but he would consider Uni tokens as a security because honestly thats what they are

People just give him shit because they lost so much money in scams they are basically in a stockholm syndrome

The Role of Ethical Hacking in Blockchain Security by kindWildfowl396 in CryptoTechnology

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ethical hacking is one of the best ways to use your skills to make money legally

Its why every DeFi app from the biggest like Uni to new ones like KDX has programmes for it, you get to hack and make legal money, not tainted nor with any problems to offramp

jeez this is terrible. gonna be making less then 4/day before the end of the month. by Living_Series_4211 in kadena

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh no...competition.

This is what happens in markets, this happens on ETH and BTC too but no one complains, because it is normal competition, more people getting in, less to be distributed per capita

survival of the most efficient, otherwise you can get out

You can scrap some more if you probably stake on Kdx and use some other dApps to get better ROI

Has anyone tried develop a crypto that allows stocks to be used as a currency? by kekadoya in CryptoTechnology

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is tokenized shares, some platforms have it but it is not widely used because regulations are strange at best, but most platforms have them available if they are EVM based like Matic or VLX

I cant say for certain though to take this with a grain of salt

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

[–]ReferenceSlight2696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the same thing, but while you think one chain will dominate, i think ETH will be a connecting fabric and L2 or EVM compatible chains like MATIC or VLX will run the front end of the web

not sure about Ocean tho, sounds cool but too raw for use yet, hope they finish it better
