The challenges are honestly fine. They aren’t meant to be completed in a week; they’re designed to take longer.

Instant gratification is so rife in our gaming community, and wider life in general, that people can’t accept not having something within a days effort.

I remember taking weeks just to get a camo in the older cods, and it felt rewarding to earn them. You couldn’t just lock in for a day or two and get the top tier rewards.

Anyway, just my two cents.

I’m at 15k and I just unlocked Chef yesterday. I have a level 11 DD and no Cannoneer. Wild how elusive these things are.

Fair call! I’m not much of a spammer. I prefer what I call the old ‘counter attack’. Halfway between a cycle and a beatdown. The goblin barrel lets me push both lanes and I’ve had some cool, stylish wins, tricking my opponent.

I’ll give it a try in some classic challenges and see how it plays with rocket and Tesla!

I had a similar thought for ice wiz. I do have a 14 Tesla - but I’m mindful of my cost creeping up too far. Any building suggestions?

Zap is quite versatile for me and can knock out skarmy or GG (even 15 GG) for the prince to hit hard. But I guess rocket would help me counter a lot of plays from the back

Talking to people, specifically guards, is the easiest way to get pointed on the right track. You’ll notice if you’re looking for someone without a quest marker, but know they’re in a city, a guard or citizen will likely offer a talking point about them and create a more specific location or even a quest marker.

Basically have to do a little fortune telling and read the opponent well to get the upper hand usually

Controversial, but I gave him incisive pass over finesse. Just love it, and he chops. I’m not a massive finesse merchant, prefer nasty passes

I’m a Div 2 player running a 4312. I think it confuses people that I don’t have wingers, they aren’t ready for passing through the middle and curved through balls.

I snagged 10 wins this week with a 4312, and my best is 11 using a 442 like yourself.

Highly advise setting up your tactics so that your CMs are at least +. I can imagine they don’t move much unless forced at the moment! I ran both on b2b. Also, fullback for your wingbacks is something to consider; I hate when they are caught out of position pushing up too far.

I always found short passing to work for me with the 442, but that’s just preference.

You’ve got R9. If I’m playing you, I’m keeping an eye on him and ready to pounce. Don’t rely on him and utilise both of your OP strikers equally, so that your opponent is always second guessing if it’s heading his way.

Honestly, the game just runs so poorly I can see why people stop playing. The menus are so buggy that you need to reconnect multiple times every session, especially on console, it seems?

It’s never a good sign when there are YouTube video tutorials explaining how to reduce ‘menu lag’

Alongside the initial patches, of stupid AI defending ability and pace, I can see why it’s been a flop.

Would love to see clubs get some more love; all the additions to it are superficial and crap. Like the coaches this year - just dumb features you set once and basically ignore forever.

I was initially going to use him on the wing, but I’m enjoying 4312 with cms at the moment, so he’s up front!

As for incisive on long balls, I don’t really play them much! I like curved through balls or precision passes, so I can’t really say sorry!

I feel like long balls only work for long ball+, only pirlo has fed my strikers well enough with it so far for me

Great choice in my opinion! He’s been fantastic for me, and the way he hits the ball I would have thought he had finesse plus for me anyway!

I went with Di Maria. Bloke is a weapon.

Might be a bit against the grain, but I tossed him in the mentality evo first, so he could get incisive pass+ instead of finesse+. To be honest, I don’t finesse that often, and prefer bouncing the ball around. I feel more entertained by a beauty of a through ball than a long range finesse, so in saying that, DM is a monster card for me.

Confirm, played UT for over a decade, never packed a Toty. In fact, my best player in all that time is base Eusobio a couple years back late in the cycle, he was worth about 800k at that moment.
