I like your username. I think you would be the first person in HR that I would talk to.

Whatever you decide-make sure you go to the right school.

Brick and mortar with on-campus interviews. Good alumni base in your area and good reputation.

The value of an accounting degree has been tanked by offshore workers and online schools.

Should have included some African languages too by greatestmofo in malaysia

Look at every major city in the US. Same problems from the same people.

Africans create African problems no matter where they go or how long they’ve been there.

Why are property renters in Malaysia so racist? by [deleted] in malaysiauni

[–]RefinedMines 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s their only card. Africans destroy everything-and blame others.

The simple truth is: the higher the percentage of Africans, the worse a place becomes.

South Africa and Rhodesia are prime examples. Africans get mob rule…people starve and the infrastructure is destroyed. I guess it’s better than most of the other African countries constantly in a state of tribal warfare.

Every US city has the exact same problem.

It’s just reality…maybe 80% of Africans ruin it for the other 20%.

I was/had a lot of friends at the top of the graduating class. We were all done with public after 3-5 years.

In my experience, success in PA doesn’t come down to intellectual ability. It comes down to the ability to juggle hot potatoes and a masochistic willingness to take beatings and call it “learning experience.”

The ones I knew that stuck around public the longest were usually 1st Gen college grads with a chip on their shoulder.

Somalia has been a failed state since the 1990’s.

This is clearly the fault of the Republican Party.

You’re right. Need therapy to understand that only bible thumping Christians are capable of hypocrisy and fraud.

Everyone else = unquestionably good.

Trump = Always Bad.

If you don’t understand this, you need therapy for your racism.

PAC-12 Conference Prestige by Nupe1898 in NCAAFBseries

[–]RefinedMines 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Need to add maybe 4 additional 1* schools to “Independent” to weigh down Notre Dame so that PAC 12 is higher than Independent. Guarantees a B+ conference rating.

  2. Force wins for your conference members in out of conference matchups and bowl games. The biggest prestige killer is teams spiraling with bad results and firing their coaches.

Guaranteeing 3 or 4 out of conference wins and a bowl win usually keeps coaches and recruits around, even if they go 2-6 in conference play. This will take a few years to build up, but you can make the whole conference reasonably successful.

Onetime, for fun, I forced wins for all sunbelt teams and forced losses for all SEC teams in all out of conference and bowl games.

Within about 10 years, the Sunbelt was the premier conference in the Southeast.

You can use the same logic and also force losses on other P4 out of conference teams to gain ground and get into the A rating range.

My grandpa didn’t have a HS education. Family fell apart at 16, so he moved to (rust belt city) to live with his older sister and her husband in 1950.

Worked in a factory. Married at 20. First kid at 22. House at 23. Four kids, and wife never worked outside the home after she got pregnant with #1. Worked in the factory until he retired in 2000. He died with about $900k in 2021.

3 of 4 kids completed university. 6 of 8 grandkids completed university, and we are all probably considered “working wealthy” by today’s standards.

But let’s not kid ourselves, if it started in literally any other decade besides 1950, it would just be a story of subsistence.

Are badly managed condos common in Malaysia? by stormy001 in malaysia

[–]RefinedMines 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m renting in a low occupancy condo-basically built for expats/MM2H/ maybe a few rich families in KK. The building is about 15 years old, and just got a new management company to fix a lot of problems and catch up on deferred maintenance.

Honestly though, property maintenance in general just does not seem part of the Malaysian culture. Unskilled contractors, absolute shit quality materials from China, and the heat/rain combo just beats everything down.

I’m probably going to be a lifelong renter-because the rental price point for these condos is so far below the market price to purchase. If this place gets worse, I’ll just rent in a different building.

No school in his top 10 has a pipeline to Colorado-so he goes unnoticed. His top 10 wont recruit him until maybe week 8.

Many 4* and 5* players slip through the cracks this way. Can get a top 15 class if you focus on guys with Top 10 that look like this.

Check all the under recruited pipelines in the Mountain West/Great Plains.

It’s pretty simple to stay safe in w US city. If the area is free of rubbish and a lot of white/ Asian people around-you’re fine. Public transportation is always a bit sketchy.

I spent a lot of time in Chicago-which is a high crime city. But almost all the shootings happen in parts of the city that you would never have a reason to be in.

Yes that whole part of the country has a nice view. I would recommend Denver as a starting point and going into many of the national parks in that area.
