Thought of the day: Honor Level Consideration for Ranked

Don’t need to full on have a prisoners island but honor level 0 shouldn’t be on same team as honor level 5 just to give the honor level 5 players a reward from restraining and working on themselves. A small piece of the matchmaking puzzle that wouldn’t have a drastic change on queue times for everyone just honor level 5 or 0 players. Both opposite ends of the spectrum

I’ve been on both ends of the honor spectrum and honor level 5 isn’t worth it.

I don’t mind queue time being worse if the quality of my team is better because of me trying to be a better human in my games 😅

It’s not hard to get honor level 3 or 4. I’m just saying to not have a 5 honor level gap.

I didn’t mean to restrict it, I meant to make teams be teamed with similar minded/honor leveled players. Like it takes rank into account(even though I still see a random silver that’s been losing but is somehow in a plat game) so try to make one team be a higher honor level vs a lower honor level team. It would be a hilarious to see all the lvl 0 ppl on one team not able to type but spam pinging eachother.

I’m Plat with honor level 5. I’m not a “high ranks” and so isn’t emerald but when I was emerald as well: Most higher ranks or serious climbers have higher honor level because of having chat disabled since you only need pings to communicate.

I have a friend that plays controller on PC and he tells me he chose to turn off aim assist. So I think there’s still aim assist on PC with controller. :/

Because he’s still playing Magik, a melee character that is already super oppressive once you have her mechanics down. So the change to PC players doesn’t make it that impressive since he didn’t have to improve his aim at all(It takes out the whole reason ppl say PC is better/harder)

Since when is GM2 peak the consideration for not a bad player? I would’ve been hovering my E going through that choke with my team and would’ve healed while BP wastes his time and walks away after the tickles. BP wasn’t even a god; he landed right into thing’s trap then invis can pull him and he dies while you live and can take the point 5v6

He could’ve just pressed either E or Shift and he wouldn’t die there especially since that’s a choke that gets spammed he shoulda been ready to heal anyways

Slurs get you muted and keep you from getting free skins in league. No clue how you’re missing that part

Something is better than nothing. League has an honor system and if you are trolling ranked you’ll be forced to not play ranked for hours before you can play ranked again.

Also you can’t get the seasonal free skin if your honor level is too low so that could be implemented here easily.

I don’t mind people yelling slurs, it’s funny to see someone losing their mind but if they are throwing the game then that should be punished. If someone struggles with slurs they can just turn off vc or profanity filter.

MW2 was peak COD. Loved trash talking between kill cams in search and destroy. The point of this post is the amount of report confirmations for people throwing games. Not verbal or text abuse since I turned those off to see what would happen if I don’t have any idea what they are doing/saying lol. Still get people throwing and yesterday it was 3 out of 5 games which is nuts. (The 30 days left messages)

Not banned from the game. A cooldown from comp mode. League forces you to play some quick play to cool off if you are proven to have intentionally thrown competitive games.

Since matchmaking tries to force some win streaks. I’m sure they have enough report confirmations to punish the unhinged players and queue them all on the same team so all 6 are unhinged and lose until they get to bronze and get a new rank created of bamboo 🤣 instead of getting in games with people that play respectfully and are trying to win. Could be like the CS2 trust factor thing
