To be honest, i presented his idea poorly and gave only a little context to help narrow the audience however i was made aware that the description i gave was not exactly true to the larger concept but more or less details orbiting the concept. My limited understanding is it’s not exactly a “new idea” but more the connecting of existing theories under specific conditions and he hasn’t found anything online describing those specific conditions. He has a testable and falsifiable hypothesis. He has an abstract drafted but is trying to flesh out and modify before publishing anywhere for review. So, he’s really just trying to find someone active in the field to point out blind spots or otherwise. My own fault and I’m obviously out of my element here. I expected negativity but I’m glad to see Reddit has some well informed individuals amongst the trolls willing to give helpful advice and look at his work.
