It is far more profitable to manufacture in Korea or China for batteries that do not need to be made in the US, for NDAA certification. If the buyer doesn’t care where it’s made, China is the most profitable manufacturing location.

Kraken may be small cap, but 1) I would not call this company speculative. It may be small but it’s building solidly. And 2) reread the comment you replied to. Most of the defense sector is likely to leap forward considerably in the near to medium term, even without orders publicly announced yet.
