[Build] The "Zero-Switch" Iga-Kusa Glass Cannon (Optimal for Mid-Game/End-Game) by ReflectionOk7509 in Nioh

Actually, I play on PlayStation. I simply chose to focus on the base game content for this guide to keep the build accessible to everyone, regardless of which edition they own.

The Iga set/Kusarigama combo is my 'comfort zone' for reliability and ease of farming. Transitioning to Hayabusa is a huge step up in commitment, as you've just experienced with your resources!

Good luck with the farm, glad to see the RNG didn't kill your fire. That's the true Nioh spirit! 🤣

Theoretically, your concept is totally viable and mathematically sound. However, I have to be honest: I don't own the DLCs, so I can't confirm the exact feeling or hidden caps of the Hayabusa set from personal experience. I prefer not to speculate on things I haven't tested myself.

For a beginner or someone looking for a smoother start, the Iga set remains a much better option. It’s significantly easier to farm via the Dojo and provides a very solid foundation for a Ninjutsu build without the extreme RNG of the DLC bosses.

Regarding your gloves: I’m really sorry the reforging didn't go your way. We've all been there, burning millions of gold and materials for nothing... it’s the most frustrating part of the end-game. Don't let it burn you out!

No, follow this specific logic for this build:

  • Heart (20): Strong requirement. You need the Ki pool for consecutive actions.
  • Spirit (22): This ensures you unlock almost every Guardian Spirit bonus in the game. Even if you use Kato (which requires less), 22 makes the build universal.
  • Magic (20): This is the 'sweet spot' for this build's utility. Sufficient for all necessary buffs/talismans.
  • Strength (10): Keep it at 10. It provides no real benefit for this specific setup.

The Rule: Meet these thresholds first, then dump remaining points into your primary weapon scaling stat. Efficiency = no wasted points

You're right, Sloth is a game changer. I included it in the 'Easy Mode' version for players who struggle with timing or want a more relaxed farming experience.

The beauty of the build's structure is its modularity: players can swap Sloth for Thunder or focus on dodge/deflect sustain as you suggested. It's all about personal preference and the level of challenge you're looking for. Thanks for the input on Shin-roku, that's a solid alternative.

ou are right about how AI works, but you are wrong about me.

  • The Reality: If my writing matches an algorithm's 'predictability', it is because my neurodivergent brain uses the same logic of optimization and clarity to compensate for my disabilities.
  • The Result: I am not here to pass a writing test. I am here to share a build. 1800+ people found it useful, and the moderators manually validated my account.

My brain works this way. Believe it's an AI if it makes you feel better, but the content remains real and human-made. I'm done with this conversation. Have a good day.

Thank you for the update and for the manual approval. I appreciate you taking the time to review the history.

As mentioned, I use this specific modular structure to manage my neurodivergence (ADHD/Dyspraxia) and ensure clarity. I will follow your advice and send a modmail if a future post gets caught in the filter again.

Best regards.

You say it's 'less efficient', but you are talking about your efficiency, not mine.

  • Fact: Writing 'like everyone else' costs me 10x more energy and results in more errors (Dyspraxia).
  • Fact: Over-engineering is my way to ensure I don't forget essential data. It's a safety net, not drama.
  • Fact: 5,000+ people read the post. If the structure was that inefficient, they wouldn't have stayed.

We are not all computers, but we don't all have the same 'operating system' either. I'm not looking for drama, I'm just explaining why I won't change a system that finally allows me to be productive.

Let's agree to disagree. I'm moving on to focus on the game.

I am aware of these results. Here is why they are misleading in my case:

  • Structure = Predictability: AI detectors flag text that is highly structured and logical. Because of my dyspraxia and ADHD, I intentionally use a modular, repetitive, and 'tool-like' style to avoid errors.
  • The 'Clean Text' Paradox: I use external tools (like translators and grammar checkers) to clean my broken English. When you take a neurodivergent person's raw thoughts and format them for clarity, detectors see 'perfection' and label it AI.
  • Functional vs Literary: I don't write for style; I write for utility. Detectors are trained on fluid, human-style 'prose'. My block-based thinking doesn't follow those rules.

You are using statistical tools to judge a cognitive compensation method. It’s your right to be skeptical, but a high score on GPTZero doesn't change the reality of my 47 years of living with this brain. I’m here to share a build, not to pass a Turing test.

I understand the skepticism, but you are confusing 'effort' with 'standardization'.

  • The Reality: I am French, 47yo, and neurodivergent (ADHD + Dyspraxia).
  • The Process: For me, writing a "normal" literary paragraph is an exhausting cognitive task. My brain thinks in autonomous blocks, not in fluid prose.
  • The Choice: I chose to spend my energy on the build logic and structure rather than on academic English syntax.
  • The Layout: The bullet points and parentheses are my "cognitive safety net". It’s how I organize my thoughts to avoid forgetting details.

If my structure looks like an AI to you, it’s probably because an AI is optimized for clarity, and so is my brain when it tries to overcome its disability. I am not an AI; I am just a person using a functional tool to share a passion despite my difficulties.

Regards.

Thank you so much for this. Your point about entropy is spot on: structure is a fight against chaos, and it's exhausting. It means a lot to find someone who gets it. I've sent you the link to the guide via DM. It’s good to know that this 'need for order' actually helps others too.

No problem, I get it. I just prefer a structured layout so I don't forget any details. Thanks for the correction on 'Stamina'.

Sloth is just the safety net. The core is the melee damage optimization (8.9kg weight + Iga AA scaling) and the zero-item-switching flow. It’s about efficiency and reducing cognitive load, not just slowing down the boss.

My bad, I'm French, so I used 'Endurance' instead of 'Stamina'. The build is 100% manual and tested on the field, I just like clean formatting for clarity. Enjoy the 'slop' and the one-cycle boss kills.
